Is there anyone out there that has stayed at either of these recently. I am looking for a first hand review of either or both. I am staying at Amerisuites in May. The entertainment rate is awesome ($39.50 for double or $44.50 for King Suite). I have spoken (via e-mail) to Faye, who works there, and she said they are both very nice and it would depend on our particular taste as to which one we would prefer (thanks Faye). If anyone has specifics I would love to hear them.

Disneyspells: I am also interested in this resort. We are booked there in November. Our rate was 49.50, I guess they are busier in November. But it's a great deal anyway, and I don't have to cook breakfast for my family, as it is included...big perk to me!

Please post when you return!!!

I just stayed at a Country Inn and Suites in Williamsburg. It was new, less than two years, and very nice. Average size room, nicely decorated with a country feel, comfy beds, and the people working there were very nice. The breakfast is continental with cereals, juices, bagels, danish, fruit, and various breads. They had chocolate chip cookies in the lobby round the clock and coffee and tea as well. The pool and jacuzzi were small but adequate. I'm not sure if the one in Orlando would be much different. For the rates you are getting, I'd say you were doing good. We stayed there for a timeshare deal at $28 a night.

While I haven't stayed in the one in Orlando, I have stayed in several Country Inn and Suites in the south and I highly recommend the chain. The rooms are always clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Cannot make a recommendation on Amerisuites because I haven't stayed at the chain.

I just returned from Calypso Cay Sunday. My advice is if you must stay there, stay at Amerisuites. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites. Everything we were told they had was at Amerisuites. The ATM, shuttle service, laundry, free popcorn, open adult pool, etc. are ALL at AmeriSuites. We were always walking over to Amerisuites. You might want to read my letter on page 11 of the Country Inn and Suites thread. It's too long to print again, but I was not happy with Faye or CI&S.

Hi Just came back and spent one night at the amerisuites at calypso cay. The room very clean, two double beds and a pullout couch, small kitchen with sink, micro, and fridge, coffee machine kitchen cupboards witih utensils.

The contintental breakfast was very nice, lots to choose from very tasty. Not too far from disney maybe 5 min. The grounds were very nice, free minigolf, nice pool with music playing, we were in the adult pool. Lots of plantings around, I thought the amerisuites was very nice and would recommend it to anyone, and I would stay there again. We went into akl and poly, but as far as an offsite place to stay I thought it was tops giving a decent amount of room. Thanks Faye,

Debbie.

Greetings,
Has anyone recently stayed at County Inns & Suites in LB? Made reservations for July.

Thanks:)

61859: There is a (very long) thread on this board related to this resort. Check it out!

Thanks for the response. It's great to get feedback from people who have gone to WD.

I was under the impression that there were two (at least)
CIS - Calypso Bay and one at Lake Buena Vista-Disney. I booked LB.

Cheers
