Amerisuites Calypso Cay Vacation Villas

We have a reservation (thru an exchange) for the Amersuites Calypso Cay
Vacation Villas - any pointers, tips on this resort? It appears to be quite
close to Disney, but on a toll road?

Anybody know if they have wireless internet service in their 2
bedroom villas?

they have an internet connection - you don't need to bring your computer - they have one set up for you.

no it is not on the toll road - (close to one) - a very nice location - close to a Publix and a Walmart. the only thing I didn't like it leaving it - the parks are generally a left turn leaving - and you can't turn left here - you must turn right then go up a block and do a left turn.

the parking lot for the timeshares part is very small - so if you happen to get a good place unload your car fully - some nights you might have to park in the hotel parking (lots, and lots of room near).

enjoy our stay (had to leave early mother got sick) - the people try hard - someone else say that there is a free breakfast - but I didn't find it....

this is the only timeshare I have stayed out that did not have express check out - you must go to the front desk and check out.....

It is with other hotels - County Inn, La Quinta that allow pets - so don't be surprise to see someone pets.

You can go all the way around to avoid the toll but the fastest and easiest way is to go the toll road. Osceola Parkway. It's 50 cents and the entrance is right by Calypso Cay. You take that all the way over to Disney. You'll end up closest to WOS and PC & CBR. Takes less than 10 minutes.
The two hotels are Country Inn and Suites and Amerisuites which both serve the free breakfast. I didn't see a La Quinta on that property, I think it's off the Calypso Cay resoprt property. There are three pools they all share,playground, free mini golf, tiki bar that serves lunch and drinks. There was also entertainment by the pool last time we stayed at CI.
