Amerisuites Beware

Just returned from our wonderful Western Disney Vacation and wanted to warn everyone of our experience with Amerisuites prior to the cruise.
We had prebooked months before for the Friday before our departure at the NW Amerisuites. We called to confirm our two rooms (2 adults and 3 teenagers) the night before and were told everything was fine. Well... when we got there they said they didn't have any rooms for us so we were sent to their other hotel (Amerisuites Airport - 5 minutes away). When we got there, they too didn't have accomodation for us. We could have smoking rooms but these were not suitable for us as we are non smokers. The hotel was also a dive and needed major renovations in my opinion. Anyhow, they then began to search for a place for us to stay.
By midnight, we were in our rooms in the Wynfield Hotel. This is in the same area and it is a beautiful brand new hotel. The rooms go for $69.00 a night and it is beautiful.

Needless to say, Amerisuites paid for our two rooms but we were very disappointed with their bump and move and shuffle when we had confirmed and double checked.

I wouldn't recommend Amerisuites to anyone.

We had originally booked at the NW Amerisuites which looks like a beautiful hotel. It is across the road from the Bennigen's TGIF Fridays and about 12 airport hotels. It is still within walking distance to all the restaurants. We were bumped to the "Airport Amerisuites" which is on the same side of the road as all the restaurants and airport hotels. The Wynfield where we ended up is directly behind the Bennigens.

Sorry that happened to you!
We stayed at the NW location for our last cruise it and it was nice. We walked to the TGI Friday's to eat as it was very close.

Nothing worse than getting to your hotel and having problems!
