That is a good point, but I guess what bothers me is the difference between the face she puts on for the judges versus how she is with others and in her interviews. I know contestants have been doing that for years, but those are generally the ones I like the least.

And rightfully so.

The girls like her and that Ana Marie are a bit much to take b/c the BTDT attitude is hard to digest.

But like Tyra said... with as much experience as she has, they'd expect her to be delivering each time.

Saying she is a man is not simply commenting on her appearance, simple as that. That said, I was really hoping for a Kayla/Jane finale, although I never thought it would happen. I am happy for Ann, but I have just never warmed up to Chelsey. She seems too contrived to me.

I can see why you might think that but that is exactly what I meant. I think she looks like a man. Not in her pictures but during the parts of the show when they're not on the job.

Tyra's comment about Chelsey made the fact they picked her even more shocking.

I agree that Anne is going to win it. They are going to say that her horrible walk is quirky, thus making it her signature. The girl is a hot mess though when she is in judging. Comb your hair, put on make up and try to look happy and excited. They badger other girls about not having personality, why not her?

I like Ann. She reminds me of my niece except my niece is 5'2". They are both thin as a rail, shy and gawky, not quite knowing what to do with theirselves. All Ann needs is someone to take her under their wing and work with her a little. She'll blow them all out of the park.

ITA!!!!! To me she had no personality, seemed worse than the others.

Usually I hate review shows but I like this one tonight.

Chelsey got that personal advice from Miss J when she won that award. I thought oh no , poor Anne doesn't have a chance but the previews for next week look like they both do well.

Wow I thought Anne had white still in her hair from the shot but tonight in the commercial she has a streak in her hair.

Her brother really looks like her. And he is even taller then her.

Way to to Anne! Chelsey look really mad but she should go far. Maybe do commercials stuff.

Anne really did have scary eyes on the cat walk ....but she sure is a pretty girl when they have her all done up.

I didn't watch it last night but secretly I'm happy Ann won.

This season, I was happy with the final 2 girls so which ever way it went, I'd be happy!

I wasn't surprised with the outcome. I do feel bad for Chelsea though.

I still think she should be courting houses like Hilfiger, AE, Polo, etc. She's got the perfect face.

LOVED Chelsea's CG photo - very striking.

What else struck me was the fact they didn't get on Ann for not having a neck in hers... and if they did, we didn't see it. That's usually rule #1 with them. All we was was her face, hair, and a peek of her shoulder. She looked like a floating head.

I think Ann will do well in print ads, especially overseas. She's got the perfect face for it!

I thought Chelsea was a really sore loser. It made me not like her. I understand being disappointed, but rolling her eyes and slamming Ann wasn't very gracious!

I haven't watched ANTM since the beginning, but I hae watched it for many cycles and I have never ever ever been surprised by the outcome. At my house, we pretty much can tell who the winner will be from about the second episode.

I looked Ann up on Wikipedia to see if it said what Dallas HS she graduated from. Turns out that she is actually from Prosper, TX. Not that anyone but me cares, but Ann said she was from Dallas, when Prosper is 34 miles from Dallas. Liz and the sisters said they were from Arlington, which is 22 miles from Dallas. I guess there couldn't be 4 contestants "from Dallas" but I wonder how they decided who would be from where.

Same reason Michael Jackson was "from" Santa Barbara or Santa Maria, CA instead of Los Olivos, CA. It's easier for people to correlate with a bigger city that is known than for someone to say I'm from XYZ to which most people would respond, "Where?"

Make sense, as long we assume that everyone knows where Arlington Texas is. (Mayeb they do now that the World Series has been played there and the Super Bowl will be. But isn't the media saying that the Super Bowl is in Dallas this year instead of Arlington?)

Isn't that the home of the Cowboys? Or is that the Texans??? I can't keep it straight - it's as bad as the Jets and the Giants...

If it is the Cowboys stadium, the Arlington Cowboys just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily. Isn't University of Texas in Arlington?

Some kind of history thingy happened there too, right??
