tell us about the highwall pop-ups from Coleman and Jayco after the show. Oh, and any hybrid news.

Our big local show here in Alabama is RV-heavy and pop-up-light as most are but I figure given the size of the Hershey show, the math is in favor of seeing more pop-ups in general.

If $ were no object though, I would love to swing both! I'm having a terrible time finding what I want in a camper locally! Like Bama Ed, I would love to know the latest hybrid news being as several salesmen around here have asked me "what is a hybrid" when I've inquired if they have any on the lot?

The 19th is Rosh Hashanah - or as it's affectionately known in NYC - Rusha Homa. Since it's on a weekend this yearthat won't be happening.

We are about an hour or so southwest of Hershey so DH, kids and myself will most likely drop in to take a look around and then hit the park (pass holders here)
We just bought a new DP in January that we are still working the bugs out of. At this moment, DH and I would love to trade the thing in. Took it to the dealer to have issues addressed and ended up with damage to cabinets, table, countertop, mouldings, door jambs, etc etc. And to top it all off, the new floor they just put in needs to be ripped out and replaced again because it is sliced in 2 places and 4 corners were not cut to fit right and tore from being forced.

I went to college with a guy named Phil Depew but he lived in Tonawanda. I guess he would be a PD, not a DP. I have to admit, I thought of every possible combination for DP but never thought Diesel Pusher. That's cause I pull my Condo On Wheels (would that be a COW?) with my F150 Gasser (an F'nG, I guess). Anyway, thanks for clearing up that mystery for me, rapriebe and tlh0726. By the way, I did not see Disney or Fort Wilderness Resort on the list of exhibitors. I have a list of trailers I am interested in seeing - looking for a hardside, 21-23 ft with a slider and enough counter space for my Magic Bullet.

We are going to the big RV show this year on the Friday. It got so busy on Saturday a couple years ago, I made reservations at Hershey Highmeadow for Thursday night.

Hope we have good weather! Last year they called for showers and it poured!

I wonder how busy it will be this year! I will certainly be smaller! By the looks of the maps no Fleetwoods!

Just stayed at Highmeadow for the 1st time last Saturday night. 1st time me or the kids used the coach too.

I lost touch with Phil - he flunked out, left for a year, then came back and I think graduated from RPI a year or so after me. He was a good guy.
