Just write out the word "sarcastic"? The whole reason for using /s was so that people could use sarcasm without having to write out that they were being sarcastic. The /s notation is still used on every board that I frequent. If you have to directly tell somebody you are being sarcastic then your words lose some of the edge they would have had. I don't even know what that would look like.To be fair, the /s slang kind of became more of a Gen Z thing than Gen Y. Most of my Gen Y friends think the /s thing is kind of dumb. If you are being sarcastic, just write out the word. Just my opinion.
"I'm sure that writing the full word out would be much less ridiculous," Frozen Canuck stated sarcastically.
Is there anything else I should know?
*Permission granted to throw a tomato at me*
(And yes, this was gentle sarcasm.

Hey, don't spoof on the Jamaican bobsledders (or Eddy the Eagle). I left home at 19 and moved to Calgary all those years ago specifically to be part of the Winter '88 scene and it was like nothing any Olympics has delivered, before or since. Those memories are precious to all of us here.
And comparing your current conditions to ours with the humidity, I'm feeling your damp chill down into my bones just thinking about it.
Same thing with heat in the summer - I'd rather "air fry" than "steam bake".
