American Type Food Table Service

My Sister and I are going in 12 days. We have a Priority Seating Reservation at the Rainforest Cafe but we'd like to enjoy maybe one more table service meal while we're there.

We like just plain old American Food....Any suggestions on a place where we'll be able to get some good American Food? And not have any problems getting a reservation?

Any of the buffets serve basic American food. Other sit-down options are Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK (Characters at dinner, not at lunch), as well as the Garden Grill at Epcot (Characters all day). At Disney's Hollywood Studios, there's 50s Prime Time Cafe and the Sci-Fi Dine In. Off the top of my head, that's it for the theme parks. Where are you staying? Lots of the resort restaurants serve basic American food as well.

Honestly, you can get pretty basic stuff anywhere- it's a theme park, so they know they have to please pickier eaters as well as those w/ more exotic tastes.

There is also the Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom which is salads and sandwiches (cheeseburgers, reubens, club sandwiches, etc.), plus great shakes and great desserts!

1) Cape May Cafe has a clam bake with North Eastern, American-style food buffet (dinner)
*Cape May also has a buffet breakfast with characters and the food is very American

2) Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge is all-American, small menu but all American foods done well (not fancy food)... And the atmosphere is great!

3) Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness (breakfast or dinner)... American-style choices like fried chicken and ribs

*ESPN at the Boardwalk has good burgers- No ADR available

**Liberty Tree Tavern in MK serves turkey, ham, steak, mac n cheese, mashed potatos... May be hard to get an ADR
