Wow - thanks for the link. That is the Adam Lambert who could be a "worldwide" star (Simon's words). I have not been his #1 fan by any means but do recognize the talent that he has.

It will be quite interesting to see where his post-Idol journey takes him.

This may have been posted before, but it's on the AOL welcome screen that Allison won a Telemundo singing competition two years ago. I don't think it's a big deal that she's won a talent competition before, but this is her video from the show. She's gotten a million times better since then, but the girl can SAAAANG! I'd love for her to sing this next week, it's one of my favorite songs. I can see her getting better and better, and still being so young she could be a HUGE star.

Now the stupid news................Mjs is reporting that the contestants will be singing two songs from the theme Classic Rock from the 70's and 80's.


However, one will be a duet with another contestant.

OMG, could we possibly even begin to hope for some 80's hair band music from Adam. I could so see him doing some Skid Row stuff.

I guess that I am OK with a duet but please let Adam at least have more to do in his duet but sing the high note. It is getting on my last nerve that in almost every group number this year they only give Adam that part. He has such a fantastic voice and can do more but they seem to save him for that part. He is the only one who can hit those high notes but, come on, we want to hear him do other things as well.

It has always driven me crazy that Adam would get to sing all of 3 or 4 words by himself, while Matt would get sing half the flipping song by himself. But, all is good now; because Adam is still there and Matt and his hat went home.

I would LOVE to see/hear them do a duet with a well known singer. Like That Celebrity duet show they had on a while back.

I could see something like this being a good idea for the final 2. It would be kind of cool, kind of like when Carrie sang with Rascal Flatts. But, I do NOT like them singing with another contestant this early in the season. Plus, the group numbers they do at the beginning of the show are (at times) a train wreck because there voices don't blend well and really point out the differences in their vocal power/range. Why would they bring it on them this early? Doesn't sound very far.

I noticed Mandy said that Carrie is due to perform on Tuesday, finale week. Why would they have anyone other than the final two singing on performance night for the finale?

I'm not thrilled with the duet thing. Sure they could be great, but at this stage if they are being judged it should be on solo performance.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but Allison still has a bottom appliance or ortho work for her bottom teeth,( has the upper bracesas well in the youtube vidoe) they are almost completely siver in side the bottom...I think that is why she has some pronunciation issues on some lyrics.

What a change in Allison. Even though her look in the video was kind of beauty padgenty, I think that I liked her hair better. I definitely liked the hair in a normal shade, just don't like the red, and I think wearing her hair up and pulled back really showed off her pretty face. It was a shock to see her show so much skin. Her outfits on Idol have been so heavy and layered. This video also makes me wonder if she is damaging her vocal cords. She seems so much raspier now that I would be afraid that the change might indicate that she is hurting (or has hurt) her vocal cords.
