Just catching up with this on TIVO.....

Was that opening number totally lip-synched???

between the reverb/tweaking (and the fact that the boys all sounded....the same!)....

And at least ONE singer not singer in her microphone (AA girl towards the frotn at the end, don't know her name, but those mics don't pic up good sound when they're pointed AWAY from your moving lips)....

I don't see how it could be anything but.

While it sounded good--umm...it also sound F-A-K-E.

I always laugh when I hear the lyrics during the farewell montages "I think I'd better leave right now..."

I always think "Well, I'd assume so. You can stay for the first few hours but after that the janitors need to clean up, and you need to check out of your hotel and go home in defeat."

At least the song isn't "Bad Day"....I forever hate that song now because they played it for Idol....I'd listen to the lyrics "but you had a bad day..." and I'd go "Well, you THINK?"

When they had Daughtry's "Home" as the song, I was actually happy. I loved that song, and I still love it after the show. Has a good staying power to it.

Yeah, but at least Cyndi would stay on pitch and in tune, even if Patsy Cline isn't her things.

And Cyndi has some REAL chops (not Randi's "Dawg chops). I'll never forget when I saw Cyndi on Howard Stern (back when he used to do that show on E!) and she did an acoustic version of "True Colors" and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard.

What ticked me off was that little TWIT was ANGRY at America for not supporting HER! You have GOT to be kidding me, she took a somewhat downbeat song and tried to make it all perky and quirky and instead it fell flat in oh-so-MANY ways. And way to INSULT the audience sweetie.
