Me too, I am probably the only one but I don't really like Crystal.

After Wednesday I might have to start paying more attention to Siobhan. She did a really good job.

We recorded American Idol while we watched Survivor, so then we could fast forward through all the crap AND the best part? We didn't have to hear the ones going home sing (or try to) again!! I think we'll do it that way for the rest of the season.

I've been doing that for years. It's the ONLY way to watch the results show. Actually, I record them all and start watching about 30 after the show starts, then I can skip anything that is getting on my nerves.

Hmmmmm....not too sure that "I'd like them to" is appropriate...could you maybe put your thoughts into a little stronger language, maybe something like...

"I'm very sorry, but due to the damage that my trailer incurred" or
"Due to the fact that my trailer has been rendered unusable"
"while being used by your daughter, until further notice you *will* be providing all trailering services for my horses to all horse shows and vet appointments. Here is my schedule for the next month."

Btw, what in the world did the kid do to your trailer? I used to ride horses when I was a kid and we did shows and all sorts of stuff...I'm trying to imagine what in the world she *did* to basically destroy your trailer.

Has the family at least contacted you about the damage?

No worries. I will be quite inflexible in my demands. Frankly they should be kissing my booty, since the kid was planning to go to most of those shows anyway.

The damage? They managed to tear the ramp off of the trailer. The left side of the trailer, where it attaches to the bottom of the trailer is literally torn off. Naturally the kid claims she took the ramp down and it "just came off". I think the horse they were loading stomped on the trailer like an out of control monster and did it, because again WHY wouldn't they use their own trailer? It was the girl's boyfriend's horse and I bet they knew how unruly he was and didn't want him in their trailer.

Anyhoo...my main problem with the whole thing (aside from the obvious) is that NO, the kid never told me about it. They dropped the trailer off after it got dark and left. I went down into the barn around 10pm to give the horse's hay and there was a hastily scribbled note on my barn's message board saying "Thanks for letting us borrow the trailer. BTW did you notice the left side of the ramp fell off?"

I am PISSED that they didn't even have the gumption to knock on my door and tell me face to face or to at least phone me. So I called HER at 10pm. I told her that the trailer is unfixble and unusable and she told me that even though it broke whne she let the ramp down, they loaded the horse in anyway nd drove him wherever it was he had to go! THAT is unsafe. The ramp could've fallen right off the back of the trailer completely.

The kid's mom is coming by later to discuss.

We bought a resale contract at Saratoga Springs.

And I am very excited about it. We told the kids at Christmas that we were buying...I made a photo album of past trips, then I had a page that said "if you believe in the magic"...and when they turned the page it said WE BELONG with the DVC emblem under it.


Then I put in the line xxxxxxxxxfamily...you're going to Disney World.

Congratulations! I, too, agree that you will love it.

The mom sent me another e-mail a few minutes ago. She's calling around for quotes to get the trailer fixed.

Funny...cause I've been calling around getting quotes on new trailers.




OOoh...UPDATE: Her mom just called. She is taking my trailer tomorrow morning to have it fixed (if the guy can fix it). It will need to be welded.

I agree. I think it had to have been Lilly, because when she was done I was thinking they were nuts for all that praise. I don't have anything against Lilly, but I think her Indie sound is going to get old. Hope she can change it up a bit.

I wouldn't buy Crystal's CD, but she definitely can sing far better than all the other girls. I suppose that's not really saying much, though.
