I don't know, I'm guessing a DQ it's rare to have a contestant sick enough they haven't been able to perform.

I'm worried that they are going to do slow versions of rockin' Stones songs and it will be another snoozefest.

I'd rather that than ANY of them jumping all over the stage singing "I Can't GET NO Satisfaction"...

Come to think of it, the AUDIENCE should sing that!!

What happens if they can't perform?

Maybe they'll do like what's been done on Dancing With The Stars. On DWTS, when a contestant can't perform, they show a practice run in the performers place in the line up and America still votes. They can only hope that America feels sorry for them and votes them through.

Michael Lynche – “Miss You” – R&B Style, had to do it twice. Audio problems. Didn’t sound good with eyes closed. Good stage presence, though
Didi Benami – “Play with fire – Dramatic, sexy version. Hit all the big notes
Casey James – “It’s All Over Now” – He was good. Played electric guitar, Southern Rock version
Lacey Brown – “Ruby Tuesday” – 4 people on strings. Awkward in the beginning, picked up steam.
Andrew Garcia – “Gimme Shelter” – No guitar, LOVED the beginning. The chorus not so much. Too low
Katie Stevens – “Wild Horses” – Sang it straight up. Pretty. Didn’t seem at pageanty. Best Katie performance so far.
Tim Urban – “Under My Thumb” – Least favorite vocal. Reggea arrangement.
Siobhan Magnus – “Paint it Black” – Really good. Very dramatic, Short barbie doll dress combat boots, all in black.
Lee Dewyze – “Beast of Burden” – Radio ready version of the song. A little nervous in the beginning
Paige Miles – “Honky Tonk Woman” – Sounded great. Forgot the words. Didn’t sing the whole song. Didn’t sound sick
Aaron Kelly – “Angie” – Kinda pulled it off. Wasn’t great.
Crystal Bowersox – You Don’t Always Get What You Want” – AWESOME as always. Played guitar. Took it gospelly/Janis Joplin. Beautiful. Moving.

Lee is doing probably my 3rd favorite.

And boy some of you called a couple of the others! LOL! This is going to be such a trainwreck. I am actually kind of looking forward to it.

so i've been MIA since i've stopped watching this season(and i don't think i've missed much) but i'll be here on Wednesday since David Cook will be performing on results night!!! omg i'm so excited!!

in honor of him being on Idol again, here's when my friend Jamie and I met him last year(i'm on the left, she's on the right)

ignore the fact that i look like crap, and that David is wearing some ugly cap. my friend is the only one who looks remotely cute in this picture....i hate her! lol j/k

when i had gone to the Idol tour the year he won, i waited outside the venue for HOURS before AND after, and he never came out(i guess he was doing some press somewhere in the area) and i wrote to my local radio station telling them about that, and asked if they'd be doing backstage passes, and how i'd go about getting one. they called me on my day off at 7am to tell me they were giving me passes!!

altho, it wasn't what i thought it was going to be. when you think "backstage pass" you think it'll be a smaller group of people and you can hang out and ask questions. for this one there were at LEAST 50 people there, and it was "get up there, snap the picture, and get out!"

but hey...at least i got my picture taken!!

I'm not a huge Stones fan but some people are singing songs I like. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to miss some of tonight since I need to play taxi mom. I told my daughter she is not allowed to work when Idol is on but JC Penny's doesn't seem to listen to me.
