I am certain Urban's prettyboy appearance is the actual reason that the somewhat-mussy haired Chris Golightly was let go (not Golightly's supposed old contract). AI was just looking for a reason to ditch the guy and they found it. Too bad the boytoy is such a bad singer.

And I stopped watching last night, but I think that if Randy or Simon drooled over contestant the way that Kara did it would be practically a national scandal.

OMG!! My DH said the same thing! Isn't it funny how reverse harrassment gets a few laughs but if it were the other way around it would be a lawsuit?

I could tell last night that it is starting to get on that kid's nerves. He rolled his eyes when Kara opened her statement with "Well you know it's no secret that this cougar is a fan"....

i saw this photo yesterday on another site and i went "i KNEW there was a reason i liked Tim Urban!" lol

uhm...right. considering Golightly looks eerily similar to Justin Guarini...i highly doubt that was the reason. plus there are other attractive guys on the show this year, it's not like they went "we NEED a heartthrob this season!" they already have a few that could be.

but i will agree with you on Kara, i mentioned that lastnight during the show. if Simon and Randy acted that way, they'd probably get kicked off the show.

really? He's my favorite!!!! i really like his voice.
and i like his story too. i hope he goes far, and gets to prove that "bad teen boys" CAN make something of themselves!
and if this show does change things for him, i hope he handles the fame and fortune right!!! (or he'll just be confirming that he was bad all along!)

his story is part of the reason i don't like him. i don't CARE about your sob story, sorry...but i don't. i don't care that "i was a good guy i just did bad things" just sing please.

Ace was leaps and bounds hotter then Casey. I'm usually not a fan of pretty boys but I loved me some Ace! (ok and New Kids On The Block but that stems from my youth! Blame it on age!)

I just don't get what the big deal is about Lee Dewyze. He just does nothing for me...

me either. he sounds like he needs to clear his throat when he sings, and when he tries to sing louder it sounds like he's really straining his voice.
