This is the first time that Kara is really annoying me.

She has made this comment about knowing what the lyrics are about before this season. First off..this kids are singing songs that they are just learning and they don't have time to research what each and every word is supposed to mean.

surprisingly i can KIND of understand her point, but i think she's saying it wrong(not surprising).

you just need some sort of emotion while you're singing the songs, and most of the contestants sit there and sing with a blank face.

I'm ready to kill my DH. He is in the family room watching highlights of Genesis being inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and he is blasting the music. I've told him 4 times to turn it down (feel like I'm with a teenager here)...he isn't so I have to keep turning up the sound on the TV to hear.

I think she has a nice voice...I just don't think she has a voice to be making pop/rock albums. She seems too practiced and studied and not just singing and having a good time.

I think I've heard a version like that way back on Buffy. I loved it -- so perfect for Angel and Buffy.

I think it is really not fair to have them sing songs from a group that has such a strong presence in music. They are so well known and Mick is so well known for his stage persona that nothing is going to sound as good or better than the original.
