That's not a singer problem, it's a sound problem. The director makes those decisions, not background singers. For years they haven't learned how to make the background be background.

so true. they need to stop picking these boring, slow songs. there's a reason more upbeat songs get radioplay than slower songs do. they get stuck in people's heads and they want to hear it again.
