Shazam is one of my favorite iPhone apps!
I haven't tried that app yet. I love Yelp when I'm traveling.

Hmm I really didn't think it was as bad as everyone else thought it was.
Hello is also still one of my ringtones, too!![]()

why aren't the judges calling out the contestants on "playing it safe" anymore? do you think they've just given up? because Aaron singing "Let It Be" isn't surprising at all, i knew he'd pick it. and he doesn't do anything "different" with any of the songs he sings, either.

wasn't there a movie called that?? it had Shaq in it....
i think the issue is, like Kara said(and i HATE that i agree with her) every week he sounds the same, he's not growing or anything. it wasn't "surprising" that he choose that song. it's very slow and boring....just like every other song he sings.

Yes. And it was nowhere near as good as the app. Or even as good as Aaron's performance.

How the frip can you take an OLD song and make it "young and relevant"????
Ack! I can't bring myself to watch tonight b/c of the theme. :insert gag face: The only thing worse than the Beatles is listening to people on Idol butchering the songs even worse. Eek!

OK..I'll agree with that...but how much do you want to bet that if next week he does something faster they will tell him he should have stuck to a song that is more "him" and showing who he is as an artist?
And if I hear one more time how they want them to make the song young (or whatever dumb terminology they use) you might hear me scream....if you want them to sing "today's music" then don't pick themes where the songs are from the 60's and 70's.....pick something from TODAY...isn't that a novel idea?
