American Idol Season 9

Well rain has stopped but the rivers are still rising. So keep us in your thoughts over the next few weeks.

Thanks for sending the storm HERE, mandy!!:scared1: Ugh... I have 5 feet of water in my backyard and it's one inch from coming into the house. This is a repeat of last September!

We spent the whole morning putting everything upstairs or off the floor. My house is an upside down wreck but at least I won't have to replace everything like I did last year IF the water makes it's way inside. I took Mike to school and I'm at work so I don't know what I'll find when I get home.

nightmare...:headache:

...we got a lot of rain too - the end of our street was flooded....however, it worked out great for my DH, who planted our veggie garden yesterday....:)

If people still wanna see it, I'll find another place to post it. Photobucket won't know about it next time.
:thumbsup2 Oooh now it really feels risque! Hiding it from the photo authorities and all!

ETA: Hope everyone is safe from the flooding. My cousin is in TN at college. Last I heard from her is that she couldn't get down her street to her apt so she didn't know what was going on or how the complex was. Not fun.

I'm so sorry Robin. I think that I helped wish it your way but I didn't think that those clouds could possibly hold that much more water. It rained here harder than I have ever seen in my entire life. Sheets of rain for two straight days, sometimes so hard that you couldn't even see through it.

Mandy, my heart is also breaking for Opryland. That hotel is huge and to think that there are several feet of water standing in it is just mind boggling. I just heard on TV that the best that they can hope for is to be back in business by next Christmas. This will be devastating to the Nashville tourism business.

I know what you mean asta. That's a good amount of cma fest hotels effected. This is depressing I don't even remember good Friday tornadoes being this bad

Not good! The 24 closure is 15 minutes from my apt. We had back to back tornado warnings. It's not suppose to let up till Monday, I'm waiting to see about finals and what's going to happen. I know some areas of campus are flooded. It's just an awful mess, worst I've ever seen in the 23 years of living in this state.

Glad you're ok. Now if Robin is ok since I heard about flooding down there from a friend of mine who lives in Atlanta. He was having transportation issues with some (if not all) buses not running.

....THIS weeks' theme:

'Irish Drinking Songs'.....

Reading this instantly made me think of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" :happytv: (edit: watch this Irish Drinking Song....oh if ONLY the Idols did this a couple weeks ago...when our car washer was here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbkMTytXlXQ)

and to everyone suffering from the massive rain and flooding, I hope you all make it through alright and with no massive damage! My brother lives near Atlanta, Ga, so I'm worried for him too.
