That was possibly the most bizarre performance ever on Idol. I don't get the people who claimed it was some sort of masterpiece.

I don't know Rascal Flatts from a can of paint and don't like country at ALL but I like the tone of his voice. He has a "bottom" to his voice and it doesn't even look like it should be coming out of that tiny body~

Flatts have an unique sound and should not be done unless you can do it and I'm not even a huge fan anymore. Gary's voice is to unique.

that wasn't even his original version, either. it was on that Rock Star Supernova one of the girls on there did it, and it was just as bad. altho she didn't screech her way thru it.

i actually agree with you. i've never really cared for any of the contestants that were under 18, they just annoyed me.

No wonder the judges were falling over themselves to praise him.


He was....AWFUL. Flat, no passion, off-pitch. Totally forgettable.


But, hey, they have to push certain people to pump up the ratings, eh?
