I DVR'd it and am just now watching it. I'm 4 girls in and Lilly is the first one so far that I haven't started fastforwarding through.

Last night the girls di not impress me. I really the boys do better tonight.

Ok my favorites of the night were Lilly Scott and Crystal Bowersox. The rest were all pretty blah. And, some were just downright terrible.

My mom used to tell me that I sing like a cat in heat. (I no longer do, but I'm still not even close to a singing voice.)

I liked Haeley's arragnement. But holy moses--evidently with lots of vocal coaching, I too could have been on the top 24 of American Idol. At least with that song.

i can't play me the gee-tar though and I likely wouldn't have made it to the part to shock simon with my lack of singing talent in the original singing auditions.


Bowersox annoyed me last night. Her Eliza Doolittle omission of the "H" on hand in my pocket....bugged me.

alright guys....i've had a crappy day and i'm REALLY hoping tonight's show perks me up.

my DH and i got into an argument earlier(his brother's wife is pregnant and before we found out the sex he kept going "OMG IT HAS TO BE A BOY!! THE LAST NAME HAS TO BE CARRIED ON! IT'S ONLY UP TO HIM, ME, AND OUR COUSIN TO CARRY ON THE LAST NAME!!" and then we found out they're having a boy and he's acting kind of weird, like...a bit TOO happy and i told him "yeah i'm really excited/happy for them too! but calm down a little bit, you're kind of loud" and he got angry with me)

and my parents called me an hour ago telling me their dog is in the animal hospital and he will either have to get his eye taken out(he's already blind in both eyes but now he's got glacoma in the one) or they might just put him to sleep

so yeah....really crappy day. i'm sitting here with a glass of wine to calm my nerves and waiting for the show to start.

come on boys, don't let me down tonight!
