I like the Beatles

But I think they are one of those groups that you have to be good to do. People think they will be able to be clever with a Beatles song and win over everyone.

the most current song was from Heart which was at LEAST 20 years old, if not 30.....

Leona Lewis is pretty recent. Although I don't know that song.

Sometimes they can't get songs cleared. But you're right, there has to be something more current.

Maybe you had to be there to understand. I grew up with the Beatles -- totally 60's child here. Both of my girls 33 & 25 were raised on Beatles and love them too.

I saw them in Washington, DC the first time that they played in DC. Plus, I have seen all of them individually except John Lennon.
