Tonight's episode is live. Chris lied about a prior contract, and since he technically made the Top 24, he will not be allowed to audition again. Idol wants people who have never been signed to a major label before. The same thing happened to Joanna Pacitti last year.

what i had heard, was that he wasn't able to prove that he was out of that contract, and it was too late by the time he got the letter from whoever he needed it from, to give to Idol.


so the story is that he WAS out of the contract all along, he just wasn't able to provide the proof in time.

that's why i'm saying he MIGHT be able to try out again next season IF this proves to be true.

i don't mind if he's not on, but only because that made room for Tim Urban and i'm really excited to see him on the show!!

So, it's been nearly 8 months since I've ventured onto the Disboards (depression, you know, since a Disney trip isn't anywhere near in my future), but I guess now's as good a time as any to venture back into this board and see how the Idol ladies are doing.

Now, I've only watched one episode of Idol this season (the first of Hollywood week), so I'm coming into this year free of the Idol pimping machine.

Who should I be on the look-out for this year? Any favorites in the Top 24?

so far i'm liking Tyler Grady, Tim Urban, and Bowersox....why can't i remember her FIRST name!?!? but yeah, i'm rooting for all of them so far from what i've seen in the auditions/hollywood rounds.
