Who has been your favorite guest judge so far? I thought Katy Perry did well, I can't really stand her very much.

I also like Shania

I liked NPH, Shania, and Katy but for different reasons. I think the 3 of them would make a great panel! Shania could play the nice card....but actually back it up with some good constructive criticism. NPH seemed very serious about the process and knowledgable. And Katy is very witty and sassy...but you can tell she also took it seriously. Plus she does a lot of behind the scenes stuff too and is not just a silly pop performer. I think they would make a great team!

My favorites were Neil Patrick Harris and Katy Perry. I felt like they took the job seriously. I'd love to see Neil Patrick take over when Simon leaves.

The rare video that I've seen of Avril (back when she did her song, "Skater Boy") she was trying for a bit of 'tude in them.

I think the best guest judge was Shania Twain. Granted I only saw her, Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne.

Joining in--I liked all the guest judges, up until Avril Lavigne didn't want to advance a contestant b/c he was in ministry with 3 kids. (She said somethng about touring and being on the road is hard--denying him an opportunity b/c of his status...ughhhh...judge on talent only people!!!! I don't recall anywhere in the rules that an existing job or children being a disqualification.)



Did anyone see an article about Angela something or other. She was the one with the awesome voice that keeps trying out--didn't make it the first time, made it to hollywood the second time but her dad was murdered, made it a third time but had a court appearance. Her mom evidently is missing now.
The girl has been through so much as has her family.

Either this person has really, really bad luck or is claiming bad things for publicity. Just too much has happened odd, I'm starting to question it all.

Actually all of the claims could very easily be verified. Her child indeed has a serious disability (we've seen it), her father was murdered (though I haven't personally verified it), checking a warrant would be easy as from the story she told during the audition--it seemed she had to actually leave hollywood b/c of it.

Sometimes people just have extraordinary bad luck and I don't see how it would be possible for her to claim all these bad things as they have all happened in each separate season.

I heard on the news, That Mariah Carey ex Tommy Mottola, is being purused by AI and Simon new show to be a judge. It will be interesting to see if he picks one or another

I forgot about her totally..she was cute and had some good comments...but didn't leave a lasting impression obviously. I guess that is a good thing, at least she didn't annoy me.

I know....what a twit maneuver...."Yeah, sorry, because you have a job and 3 kids you can't have this opportunity"....what a spoiled obnoxious brat!

That hoodie makes her big bucks. She was wearing the clothing that she sells -- free advertising. She actually has matured quite a lot, as far as I can tell. You might want to read up a bit on what she's been through, and perhaps reserve judgment until you have more to go on than what little you can see on a television show.
