Christina, yay! I don't like her new songs, but her back to basics songs were really good.

Just thought I'd pop in to give a hometown perspective... I live in Mt. Prospect Lee's hometown... the Village Green where they are showing the hometown crowd in directly behind my backyard.
There's a HUGE crowd there and I can hear the broadcast from the hometown party louder than my TV...We were out on our roof to see all thats happening.

I'll keep you posted on what's happening here!

It's so funny...they tell people all the time NOT to try to sing Christina and then they have some really BAD singers trying to sing her songs.

I know, right? They all sound worse than usual tonight.

I told DD10 that after all that bad singing we'll hear a real singer. Christina has an amazing voice and I like how she's changed from her "dirty" image.

you know....i have nothing against Christina and she's got a great voice on her albums.....but i'd never go to one of her concerts. i've seen her perform live on television and she doesn't even sing, she's got backup vocals and all she does is yell "OHHH!! YESSSS! WHOOO!!"

unless she's just standing there singing. then she actually sings. but i wouldn't want to pay to hear her sing for half the concert.

The girls didn't even sound good when they were all singing at the same time. As much as I love Christina's songs they should be banned from American Idol.

That could have been my town if all you DIS people (and a few hundred thousand more) just voted for Big Mike.

I prefer Christina's fast stuff, this is boring in an already boring show.

I like that too. She has really grown up..unlike some other former teen female singer that is still a wreck waiting to happen whose initials are BS

This finale is depressing so far....from the dated performers, the sucky singing, the bugs and the depressing songs, it makes me wanna cry from the sadness.

I went to her tour back in 2002 (my aunt got free tickets which is also why we saw Britney that year) but she was actually pretty good. I thought it was a better concert than Britney's was because she can actually sing.
