I think Hayley and Antonella SHOULD go home... I really like Hayley but she just isn't as strong and the other girls. And Antonella I already beat the dead Hercules Horse on that one... I don't need to say anymore.

Oh go ahead and say it! It has all been said way more than I care to admit in my house! My DD, who is 29 has been complaining that the people who she works with think she is voting for Sanjaya because she is the youngest in her area. I have heard it all this week.......

At this point, Antonella Barba might be the first contestant ever on American Idol who could probably walk out on stage and take a pass on singing this week and still progress in the competition. Like it or not, the combination of legitimate fans, sympathetic viewers, and vote for the worst devotees means that Antonella Barba will likely be around for several weeks to come.

Somebody get me a barf bag; I'm definitely gonna be sick!

OK...about Antonella. First of all, in today's world, unfortunately, it is not that rare for young women to pose or perform in a sexual way. Go to my space and check out a few profiles of teenage/young adult girls that you know. Until a certain young woman that I know was smart enough to make her my space site private, I was shocked and amazed at the pictures and stories I saw there. That being said...is Antonella really that pretty? I don't see it. She's tall and thin, yes...but certainly there are better looking women naked on the internet. Is there really that deep of a fear that people won't get to see her naked pictures anymore if she's booted off idol?

I really enjoyed the articles Dan posted links to. I caught the donut comment too and laughed, because I remember reading somewhere that Simon and Ryan have this thing where they will choose some obscure, silly word and the "contest" is to see if they can work it into the show somehow. That is why Simon uses the contrived metaphors and comparisons that he does. It's all a big joke. (and sometimes pretty darn funny). I also LOVED Ryan's speel with Kelly. I was cracking up when he asked her what she had spent her money on. It was too funny.

dolphindan1......a shrine to Dan is a MUST! We too have seen him a number of times over the decades. A trip to Indy was always a blast as the guys would hang around chatting and signing autographs, or head up the night before a game and stay at the same hotel and "mingle". That was back in the day of A.J. Duhe, the Blackwood bro's, and of course Clayton and Duper!We go all the way back to '71 following the Fins...Shula is a GOD! My brother here in Chicago still has season tix, and a pair of shoes that still have "Orange Bowl" mud on them when he was lucky enough to have a field pass for a game. Those were the day, long before Jimmie Johnson was the ruination of the team, followed by his yes man Wannie.
I saw that Harrington's gone...would've rather seen Culpepper go...just not a team player from what I have seen. I could go on and on,
How is this for a current football issue ? My DS, 12.... has become a JETS fan The little traitor!Hopefully there's still time to turn him around. My DD, 16 is a FIN FAN all the way. I loved seeing them beat the bears this season. It's tough to be a Miami fan in Chicago.
I have my Wheaties box with Marino on it in our shrine, numerous items and autographs...gotta tell ya about one of his routine class acts...we were helping out with a benefit on Autism ( our friends son has it) and we were gathering items for a silent auction. My brother called the Dolphins booster club and eventually was able to contact the Dan Marino autism charity...within 24 hours we had a call that Dan would sign a ball and anything else (within reason) for the event. It raised a nice sum of $$$ and it was great to hold that football for just a minute or 2 before adding it to the other items.
Well, I've hi-jacked the Idol thread..sorry 'bout that. IMHO, Antonella is using Idol to get her real prize which is movie/tv/modeling...whatever, she knows the power those photos have...actually singingcrazy2: ) is just a way to stay on camera to keep the controversy alive.
Gina lives in my town I am following her progress, but I think Dolittle sounds awesome, Lakeesha too. I love watching Blake,very entertaining, but think he is going to be pigeon-holed to the whole beat-box style, reminds me of boy-band try outs. It pretty much will come down to marketability...whichever Idol can sell the tix. I think that Sabrina will go far...I am predicting her in the top 2.

I had chances to meet him but never did....My brother in law worked for a hotel here in Charleston SC and he would always tell me when Dan was in town to play golf....He he went as far to get me Dans bill with his signature and his wifes on it...it even includes him address and Phone number....too neat....buddy at work sat by Shula on a flight and he knew what a fan i was and he got Don to sign a boarding pass and give to me....I also hate JJ and Wanny....ruined the legacy that was Miami Football....I thought Saban would get it back but he turned out to be a traitor...Maybe Cam can!!!....Also McMichael was released which shocked me...

Antonella well if she can get a acting carear great for her....I also really like Sabrina...thing is I think she might get overshadowed by Melinda, Chris and Lakeisha....dont like Blake or Chris R but of course i am not a boy band fan...season is getting better but still lacks what last season had....not sure if its talent or editing thats lacking

Well I got pics of Mrs Pickler from last weeks show....you know the newer bustier Kellie so I will be putting those in soon....as soon as I can get over the emotion i get when i see them....
