I'd much rather see the good singers get in front of the panel so that they would actually have to make a real decision about who stays or goes.

Yes, I agree. I told DD's that I would like to see some singers that could make it or not - not just the horrible ones.

Some of them seem as if they are "planted" on the show for entertainment.

So far, the funniest thing is watching the people try to walk out the wrong door & having Simon say, "other door" or "wrong door" over & over again!!!

Okay I have a friend who auditioned first time she didn't have any props or anything but has a good voice and didn't get through to this part. This year auditioned she had a stuff cow and got through to the judges. They look for those who stand out it seems.

That's what I thought too! I was staring at the TV, openmouthed, going "OMG..if you have girls that big, you MUST MUST MUST wear a bra! Always!". When Ryan asked her what her look was and she said it was sexy, I wanted to cry. Oh girl..that was not sexy. Not even close.

Simon was right about that one guy..he did kind of look like a monkey. Actually,he reminded me of Gollum with those giant scary eyes of his. And his friend..Um. Yeah. I was left wondering what happened, did the inmates take over the asylum or what? :

Then there was the other guy..the one who butchered "Unchained Melody". My cat yowled in pain and I wanted to cover my ears.

LOVED the supertall chick from Witchita Falls. Way to represent girl!

he was SCARY!! even scarier than that crazy Ace fan from yesterday's show.....and she was pretty friggen psycho herself!!

i seriously thought that Red was going to beat up Simon if he told him he was bad! lol.
