ITA i was bored by her songs!

Kat didn't get the short end of the stick, she is the short end of the stick. I would be willing to bet that Taylor would have nailed that song if that was the one that he had gotten.

She totally played it safe with songs that she knew she had nailed and I think that her fans should feel cheated.


On a side note I keep getting a weird message when I vote for Taylor that says "No V4"

Why is it that Kat played it safe and Taylor didn't? Didn't he sing those songs before as well? I'm a Taylor fan from the very beginning, and I want him to win, but I don't understand why everyone is being so hard on Katharine. Doesn't it make sense that she would choose the songs she got the best feed back on? I don't feel cheated. I was happy to hear her sing those songs again. When you buy a CD isn't the whole idea to be able to listen to the songs you like over and over again?

I don't like how they made them choose 2 songs to sing that they have already sung this season. I wanted to hear something new! Every other season they sang all new songs, along with the single.

Anyways, I really like both of them and wouldn't mind seeing either one win. Although I did make a bet with my boss that Taylor would win because I definitely think he has a bigger fanbase, so I'd rather see him win. I hate voting because I really do like both of them, but I got one vote in for Taylor before Ryan announced the lines were open.

And I have to say...they sounded a little "pitchy" to me! See...even super successful artists can sound bad when singing live sometimes. I think the expectations on AI are higher than those for artists who have already "made it"

RF sounded good to me but Keith Urban sure sounded off. So did Sarah Evans. Now Ronnie sounds sweet no matter what he sings. Is anyone getting thru yet? Still busy here.

Didn't Fantasia sing Summertime for the final show? I thought that they always sang at least one song from the competition.

OT - Sara Evans ALWAYS sounds off to me. She sounds fine on a cd, but I have yet to hear her sing good live.

RF sounded great on their first song (I'm a big fan) but the song with Kelly...not so great. And I'm a huge Kelly Clarkson fan as well. I have both her albums. For some reason whenever I watch country music awards I don't think people sound good. I don't know if it's the venue and acoustics or what, but something's not right.
