So, what do you think are the greatest love songs ever? I figure with that for the theme that Simon is going to tell at least one of them they remind him of a wedding singer! Here are some of my choices for best love songs ever (the first two were MY wedding songs! )

Unforgettable by Nat King Cole
You Look Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton
Your Body is a Wonderland by John Mayer (IMO the sexiest song ever)
In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel
It's Your Love by Tim McGraw
Still by Lionel Richie

I know these are not probably the types of songs they will pick for AI. They will go with pop. We will probably hear at least one Whitney Houston and one Celine Dion song (just please, please don't sing the Titanic song people).

I'd like to hear Chris sing "Beth" by Kiss. Kind of rocky but still a love song.

This would have been Lisa Tucker's week singing a Whitney song.

I'm excited to see what the kids will do.

I agree! Beth would be a great song for Chris!! I'm trying to think of a good one for Taylor. But my mind is blank!! I think Katherine will probably go with a Celine Dion song since she has been compared to her style wise. I'm really not sure about the rest. Kellie might go country again. I guess we'll see!!

I think being the bottom three (when you're a talented contestant unlike Pickler) really can springboard you the next week if you do ok.

The Richmond area is really starting rally behind Elliott, and it was ridicuously hard to vote last week, I got through once in 2 hours. Talk about frustrating.

I will continue to pound the phones for E-Double, as he is my favorite, and he's from a few miles away from me!

Taylor is #2, so he will get my votes if/when Elliott goes. If both are eliminated I won't be watching anymore!

Chris and Mandisa were my two other favorites and I thought it was an outrage that Mandisa was eliminated so early. Chris is just getting stale with me, it's not that I don't like him, he's just boring me as of late. I agree with a previous poster, her her voice in Kellie's body and she would obviously still be around. Put Kellie's voice in Mandisa's body and she would never even make Hollywood. It's a damn shame, how shallow some people are, even on this board.

I would vote a 1,000 pound man if he had the soul and voice of E-Double!

This city isn't like Birmingham, we never agree on anything. We're still fighting the Civil War, and we think building a new baseball stadium is evil. Nothing gets solved here, no one agrees on anything. Somehow we're getting behind Elliott, not sure we will ever vote in mass like Hawaii did for Trias, for B-Ham for Ruben.

KICK KELLIE OFF! PLEASE! I WOULD PAY $ TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER FAKENESS!

I don't think it would work with this week's category...but I would love to here Katharine sing "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt. I heard it on the radio yesterday after not hearing it for several years and remembered how much I liked the song. It seemed like it would be a good fit for Katharine.

I read somewhere that Taylor surprised his grandmother when he was a young boy by singing Otis Redding's Try A Little Tenderness. Prior to that, she didn't even know he could sing. I would love to hear him sing that song next week.

Personally, I'd like to hear Katharine sing "At Last" -- but that's not really uptempo and everyone thinks she needs to do something peppy. Now, I'm not saying I disagree, but she can sing uptempo and has proven it with her first appearance in the Top 24 - "Freedom (Think!)". She shined on that one. Still, I'd be thrilled if she picked a love song that stayed in the jazz genre.

I totally agree! I think she could rock "At Last"! Although everyone is saying she needs to do something uptempo (and she probably does to stay in contention), her niche is that real bluesy, sultry thing.

Did anyone else notice her make-up this past week? It was fine as long as the camera-camera lights weren't on her. At one point, on a close up, it looked like her blush was maroon. When the camera backed up to do a wider angle shot and when the house lights were on, it was a nice peachy/gold hue that looked great on her. The eye make-up did the same thing. There's probably some Optical Physics thing that the camera filters and the make-up were refracting different colors, etc.
