Daniel was OK. He really wasn't that bad but he looks like a baby.

Quentin - good job, nice moody version of that song

Joey - I did not like that very much. I thought she was using part of her affected matter of speech to mask that she couldn't hit a few of those notes.

Tyanna was good but I could hear her taking breaths. You could hear those breaths on the recording too.

Jax - I did not like that at all.

Nick - that was good

Clark - great job, beautiful haunting song

Qaasim - seems like a nice guy but his singing is not good

Rayvon - not very good

I don't think Maddie and Adanna were the worst ones out of that group but they were not the best either so I am not that upset about them leaving.

I thought Clark, Nick and Quentin were the best. Clark is still my favorite.

Week of April 8th: Billboard Hot 100 with Florida Georgia Line as mentors crazy2 and perform as well( ) Jason Derulo will also be a mentor apparently and perform.
Also a special performance of Izzy's song with Jennifer Hudson.

The week of April 8th I am slightly confused how it's going to work with that much going on. i'm going to try and find more on it though!

As of right now on iTunes, Clark is the only one to break top 50 on the pop chart for his song. He's at 47

I think Daniel is a very talented kid but I think now is not his time. He needs to wait a couple of years and come back. He has the musical ability for sure, but his voice is changing and he is not working through the nerves. He seems nervous all the time even when interacting with his competitors.

I love Quentin. I like different and he is different. "In the Air Night" is my favorite song ever and I sometimes feel like its almost sacrilegious for anyone but Phil Collins to sing it. Not so with Quentin. He is an amazing talent and makes the songs his own. Although he is not really like him, he brings Adam Lambert to mind. (think "Ring of Fire"!)

Jax has that a lot of talent too. She has places in songs that sound amazing and spots that don't but they all seem that way.

Joey--can take or leave her.

Clark--can take or leave him. He pretty much sounds like any other singer out there.

Quassim--he is a performer. Even Boy George could hear that he can sing, but there was a definite difference in him from the practice room to the stage. He just needs to get his performing and his singing all on the same page. And he may never get it together but I don't think the judges were wrong for the save. He blew them away that night. He didn't sing the song the way every other performer sings the song and that is what makes him what he is.

Was glad to see the two girls go home. Didn't particularly like either one. Again, they sound like any other singer out there. AI needs something amazing and they are not it.

Since I just got to watch the performances here is my take on last night.

Daniel: It was actually a decent song choice for him I think. He did OK, but he is so out of his league compared to some of the other guys.

Quentin: I was prepared NOT to like this because, well, because it is Phil Collins!!! I actually thought he did a really good job with it but I can't watch him when they do the close ups because of that thing hanging off the nose.

Joey: I did not make it through the whole song. I just will not get her and she really annoys the heck out of me with the way she pronounces words and puts weird accents or something on them.

Tyanna: Nice job, much better than last week.

Jax: She had parts I liked, parts I hated. She is talented but she also does the weird pronunciations on words that annoys me. For some reason she just reminds me of the girl that would be sweet as pie to your face and then she'd stab you in the back to get her own way. BUT, she knows what she wants and she sure is playing the game.

Nick: I enjoyed listening to his song.

Clark: Not a fan of Sting or the Police but OMG...what he did with that song. I actually listened to it twice.

Qaasim: Ummm..just no. Simon would be throwing out the karoake machine on that one.

Rayvon: Wasn't all that impressed. It was "nice" but compared to Nick, Clark and Quentin he fell short.

Most of them really stink this season.

Daniel sounds like his voice is changing during each song. Cute kid though.

What is with Joey and Jax singing with strange, made-up "accents"?? I haven't liked Joey from the start, but I liked Jax originally. But what she did to that Bon Jovi song tonight... not good.

I like Quentin and Tyanna.

Nick was aiight... I like that song anyway.

Clark has a beautiful voice and he seems like a nice guy. Another song that I love anyway, which always helps. He reminds me a tiny bit of David Cook who is the only "Idol" whose CD I've bought.

Qaasim just sounds like any regular person who would sing that song, like the PP said, karaoke. All that screaming at the end.. just shut up.

Rayvon sounded very off key and like he was squeaking and had marbles in his mouth.

I wish they would've kept Maddie.



P.S. Who cares what these kids think of 80's toys?!?!?!?!? That whole bit was kind of dumb and was just time filler/killer.
