Haven't missed anything! They aren't doing that this year. Hollywood week footage has been shorted compared to the past.

Me too. The other one was good but I think she was a bit too limited in the types of songs she could carry off.

I didn't care for her during group week but loved her solo tonight.

I fail to see the need to "play the 'gay card'". Just be yourself and let your talent do the talking.

I don't think I heard her other than that clip of her vocal performance. I missed group night so don't know from there....

MK? Like I was telling my Mom today..you don't need to openly announce anything, just live your life however you want because seriously most people just are not shocked or give a care about that now.

I know some still will, but I think anyone watching the show could figure that out without the announcing.

All that said, I am going to have to see some sort of emotion or something from her when singing. I found that whole solo to be more "I am just going through the motion" as opposed to singing to win. BUT, maybe in person there was more there.

I don't think it was a "gay card" as much as it was the "elephant in the room"... my son even asked me if she was a he or a she. It's not very clear, even when she's singing. She addressed it and since she's going to have to deal with votes from America, I guess addressing it was her way of making it a non issue.
