Been watching, and doing exercises, since I usually go to the gym on my day off, but Mother Nature decided we needed snow, rain, sleet and more today! Now relaxing and enjoying,

Stuck in that gawd-awful mess outside?

Yeah, I was doing some driving around...I'm on the other side of the state and we got lots of the "lovely" stuff today.

Mainly today was my day for yelling at people and threatening and taking on a nursing staff taking care of my Mom..raised some you know what that shocked even my Mom. She heard me yelling all the way down in her room. Can I just say telling the head nurse that since her staff can't do their jobs without rolling their eyes and giving attitude or just brushing people off that I would handle my Mom myself and if she fell and got hurt I'd be suing the pants off the hospital...but my words were not that nice, that actually got my mom the help she needed. It should not take over an hour, multiple requests and me screaming to have someone come in and get her out of bed and to the commode. She can't even use the bathroom. By the time I got fed up and they came in to help she ended up half going on herself and the bed...I mean how freaking degrading is that?

HospItal or Nursing home? They usually have a patient relations rep or ombudsman. Call them tomorrow.

Mom is doing good. She got transported tonight to rehab..now we try to find permanent placement. I've talked to so many social workers, senior care assistance people and really I am just so frustrated by the lack of help out there.

I feel like a lot of these people think they are an inspiration to everyone. A lot of the same stories.

A Nurse rolled her eyes? No way! Call the Nursing office!

it was a nurse. I am filing a complaint. Mom is out of there now and to tell you the truth I normally love this hospital and up until this nurse her care was wonderful. They moved her to a new floor and the staff, especially this one, was just so dismissive. I get that it is a geriatric floor, but my mom does have a good mind and she is sharp as a tack...and she worked in the ER and knows her stuff.

Anyhow..back to Idol. What did I miss?

I'm listening to some of these and wondering how they even got through to Hollywood.

I'm half paying attention. I've not had anyone super catch my attention, I can only hope the live round does.
