It was good, not great. LBT is known for their harmonies so it's hard to replicate their songs

I really am not a fan of that song...but he did it well. I don't know how he would have changed it up and still had it sound OK. AND if this is the type of songs he wants to sing why should he give us something different.

Eh Dexter sounds the same every week. He's great but I'm not a huge country music fan so maybe that's why he's not my fav.

As for the judges, they tell Dexter that he needs to put his own spin on his songs, make it his own. Yet they tell Alex WHO DID ALL OF THOSE THINGS that they want more from him? I kind of want to smack the judge's heads together tonight. Well maybe not Harry's. He's too dreamy!

This was the first time that I liked Malaya. It did get a little shouty at the end.

I actually liked that. Her voice when she is not trying to belt it out is nice. I did not like when she got a little shouty at the end.


So, are they trying to push her because Idol really wants the youth market? They have tried that for years and it never works.

I guess the "shouty" was to wake you up from the rest of it.

To me, it was BORING.
