the dis is so messed up this morning. robin has a post on here that I am 100 % sure is not hers and it sure doesn't belong on the idol thread.

Just in case it goes poof and gets fixed before anyone sees this...it has Robin asking questions about camping at WDW.

I am considering staying her for the first time in May. I have never camped before. I have been to Walt Disney World a total of seven times and have stayed at the Value Resorts and Caribbean Beach Resort.

*My first question is will it be too hot? Me and my husband live and have grown up in the south so we are pretty much use to Florida weather and we will be staying at the parks from opening to closing.

*Second question is how bad is the transportation to the parks from this resort compared to the Value Resorts?

*Third we want to buy a small tent to use if we stay here for under 40 dollars is that possible? Preferably one we will not get drenched in if it rains. Any recommendations?

*How does check in work? What time can you get there? Do you go straight to the campsite are park somewhere else until check in time?

*Fourth is about the comfort stations. A.)How clean are the showers and bathroom? B.) Are there hooks in the private section of the shower to hang towels and cloths on. C.) Is there a place where I could sanitarily take in and out my contacts. D.) How private are the showers and I would assume they have separate female and male ones correct?

*Is there a refillable drink station and does any of the dining accept QSDP? What types of thins are offered?

*How safe is it? If we leave our campsite i.e. tent up with our belongings such as cloths and toiletries will it be safe when we are at the parks?

*Tips for staying here?

*Things that are must haves?

*And last is it worth it?

*How much walking is it compared to the other resorts and Disney World in general?

Laugh OUT LOUD!! :lmao:

Me CAMPING????

Sorry, my motto is I never do ANYTHING I cannot do in heels....;)

I was happy to see they had Mindi Abair return last night. (sax player that accompanied Phil Phillips.)

Hope they ask her back again!

I haven't read the responses to last night yet, but I finally watched the show this morning.

That was by far the most boring episode of American Idol I have ever watched.

I knew one song. And I'm bored with these contestants, and the judges.

Okay - now I'm going to see what y'all said last night to see if I'm alone. . .

All caught up on this thread now. Sounds like everyone thought it was pretty boring.

I fast-forwarded through a lot of it, but I thought Joshua's song was the most interesting one even though I don't like him that much. I just liked the song.

I also thought Hollie was better than some of the other ones :confused3.

I guess I'm for Colton or Skylar to win. They're the most likable and have a lot of stage presence.

I'll never buy music by any of these people, though.

In fact, the only AI-artist related music I've ever bought is Adam Lambert's "What Do You Want From Me?" or whatver it's called. I love that song .

ETA: Oh yeah, the only song I recognized from last night was the Lady GaGa one.

I liked Colton, Phillip, Joshua and Jessica last night, in that order. Hollie is out of her league and I just don't like Elise. I have a feeling it will be Elise going home but if it is based solely on singing it should be Hollie. She has the voice, but just can't put it all together on stage.

Oops I forgot about Skylar. Keep forgetting her. I guess that says all that needs to be said about her! I do like her though, probably best of all the girls but I prefer all the boys to any of the girls.

That AWKWARD moment with the actor and Elise was by far the WORSE few minutes of the night. That statement she made "'s that all ya GOT?" was :headache:

She was on the rag last night, even though I liked the song.

I cannot stand Skylar's HAIR. It makes her look like a troll doll. It looks almost plastic and and the color looks so fake. I think she looked better when she looked more natural.

I think while they're trying to morph BB into Beyonce, they're trying to turn Skylar into Reba McIntyre! :3dglasses

I finally watched AI from last night. I had everything typed but lost it while trying to log on but my general take:

My favorites from last night by a mile were Joshua, Phillip and Colton in that order.
I loved that Bruno Mars song (does anyone else remember it from the Grammys? Bruno Mars was fantastic) and Joshua did a good job. I like him so much better when he sings without all of the runs and shouts.

Phillip is my favorite so no surprise there. I happen to just like his style of music.

Colton song and voice was so pretty last night. I think it was my favorite from him so far.

I actually liked Holly. I think the judges must be crazy with their criticism.

Elise was OK but her attitude is a little off.

I don't like country music so I can't be a fair judge toward Skylar but I didn't care for her performance. And Robinrs, you are so right. She looked so much better before. I hate the hair now. And the world does not need another Reba McIntyre with the overly hick accent.

And then there is Jessica. I really don't like anything she sings. The judges can praise her to the high heavens and it still won't make me ever want to hear her again.

I wish, wish, wish that Jessica would be sent home but it will probably be Holly or Elise.

.....last night's performances were......well......ho-hum....underwhelming.popcorn::

Last night was the first night in awhile that we didn't FF through Joshua. We (wife & I) both really enjoyed it. We normally HATE what he does.

Jessica is hit or miss for me. I thought she was great on Whitney Houston night (even though I consider that a Dolly Parton song :goodvibes ), but HATED her last night. Elise is hot & cold too. Thought she was good last night, terrible last week, and the night she did Whole Lot of Love I consider to be the best performance by ANY of the contestants so far this year.

.....that's what I'm thinkin' too....but, hey, :confused3 ya nebber know.

I hope not. I'm not a big Hollie fan but she didn't deserve that vitriol last night. They shimmy up BB Chezz's skirt if she spits on stage but Hollie... come on her performances last night were the best I've heard and they seemed to be PREPARED with their "sorry" bs... as if they ever had a sensible response this year. :rolleyes1

I'm over the favoritism, it's getting too obvious now. If nothing I wouldn't mind her leaving tonight so they can stop the bad acting. :headache:

I'm not sure how you know that, but she always kinda seems that way. . .:rotfl:

I actually think just from her affect every week that she must struggle with depression or something.

I also thought her comment to Jason Segel was a little strange, but maybe she was just caught off guard. I think she couldn't tell if he was talking to her live or not because of the pause he threw in there, but I think it was recorded based on what Ryan said. Those little celebrity recordings totally remind me of the American Idol Experience "celebrity" ones at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
