The judges all make the contestants, for the most part, feel like they could win the competition. I think the contestants all believe the judges and are truly crushed when they are taken out of the competition. And Deanndre's family was so upset! At least I think it was his sister.

Did you see Deandre mouthing to his mom "STOP CRYING!"...cute.

I like Deandre 10 times more than I like Elise. I wish she had gone home. I do think the judges were right not to give him a pass. He's just not good enough to win so no sense in giving him the one and only pass.

Thought J-Lo's video was embarrassing. As one mother to another, I'm embarrassed for her. Thought it was inappropriate for a family friendly show like AI, and inappropriate for a woman of her age, period.

Kellie Pickler needs to eat a few cheeseburgers. She has really aged in such a short period of time. She can't be that much older than 30 can she? She looks a decade older. I hope she isn't sick, she looked so frail I was shocked that was her. She seems like a sweet person and really supportive of the other contestants so I am not knocking on her, just worried that she is o.k.

I have his CD and really like it, so it'll be good to see him again.

I was glad they sent DeAndre home last night, and didn't use the save.

I love Kellie Pickler but didn't care for the song she sang. I think I would have liked it more if Tammy were still alive. It was good to see her again though and I agree, she's too thin.

I though Kelli was so cute last night! I'm glad she's doing well in her career. When did she leave her season? I'm thinking it was somewhere around 8-5???

I think all the kids have received enough exposure, that if/when they do leave the show, they can have a nice career. Some former contestents have finished at the very top, and struggle career wise. And some have finished mid-pack and have done very well for themselves.

I agree w/ the PP about JLo's video. It was not appropriate for this show.

I really don't have a feel for who will "win" or be in the top 3 yet. Usually, by this time in the show I've a good feeling.

I saw Kellie on HGTV's Celebrity Motor Homes a few weeks ago. She looked thin there too but not as aged.

The host commented on her motor home and she said something along the lines of growing up in a trailer so she felt at home. It was cute.
She kept pulling her sweater around her. I wondered if she was cold but she was doing it inside as well.

Sorry, she doesn't look fine to me. Being too thin is just as dangerous as being overweight and if tv adds ten pounds she is WAY too thin.

I agree she looks much older and not as healthy as she used to. I was a vegetarian for 14 years and never looked unhealthy like that.

i SO agree with your bolded. when i see something like that, i always wonder what her children will think when they're grown. how embarrassing. we were having a storm and the satellite wasn't working, so we missed the video. i watched it online to see what the fuss was about. and i agree--it was COMPLETELY inappropriate for families.

and really, how JLo not yet learned that she needs to NOT put her current boy toy into her videos. man, her kids will have a nice chronological timeline of mom's love life.

J Lo's video was completely inappropriate for a family show! My ds had just gotten up and gone to take a shower when it came on and I was sooo glad he wasn't in the room. I was embarrassed for her!

I was hoping that Elise would go home last night. I like Deandre, but knew he didn't have a chance of winning. I love Hollie. She reminds me of my daughter. She has a great voice, but needs to learn to sing from her heart, not her head. Hoping that clicks before she is voted off!

Oh good. Maybe they've been my complaints about the song choices being completely irrelevant to today's music.

BTW... Pickler finished 6th on AI.

That was from 3 years ago. 3 years ago she looked pretty good. Now she looks gaunt. I think the change that got me was in her face more than her body. She looks like she aged 10 years.

thank you to everyone who supports me and voted this week! i appreciate it very much...i heard that some people took my comment the wrong way but i thought jimmy said if i dont move around i would get passed and all i was meaning that im not the artist who runs around stage touching peoples hands and sings to them, thats just not me so im sorry to who ever my have taken it the wrong way bc i wouldnt even be here without you guys voting haha thank you again!

I thought he was being honest and real. I can't stand seeing people going after the fan's hands and looking uncomfortable doing it like someone gave them their orders. Hollie and Skyler especially look awkward doing it.

about the hand the singer extends to those fans in the front, i keep waiting for someone to pull them into the pit with them.



i would enjoy seeing that, very much.


i get no excitement watching the fans up front begging for the singer to slap their hands.

And I agree with Robin about Phillip. He would look odd making the run slapping hands. Others may be able to do that, but many look cheesy.
