I had to go back and see because I thought..."not only can I not see far away due to old age..now I can't even read things right that are there in front of my face. "

i would go for a lighthearted game too!

i am excited for the Stevie Wonder part. i'm a little worried about the Whitney only because they've pounded into everyone's heads not to sing Whitney. so, i worry for the girls. i think it will be extremely important to make the songs "their own." i think they need to avoid singing karaoke copy-cat versions.

Ooh I love Stevie Wonder! I just hope the guys don't butcher my favorites. My all time Favorite Stevie song is Superstition, followed by Living For the City, then Sir Duke, and then Higher Ground. I hope all four of those songs make an appearance. I saw Stevie live in Greece last summer and he's still got it...so incredible!

I think the play nice comment is probably aimed at those of us who showed no appreciation or mercy toward the girl who finished third last year (Was her name Haley something? I have never seen so many girls whose name starts with an H. It is hard to keep them straight.). I'll try and play nice this year. So far all of the thirteen seem like pretty nice people so that will make it easier.

I thought I was the only "bacon"... I actually liked Haley and really hated to see her go.

I just read through the last 10 pages or so to catch up and see what everyone was thinking about this season. I had actually forgotten about the Dis Idol thread. I must say, some of you really crack me up! I'll definitely be following this thread.

I was one of the pro-Haley posters last season. I loved her voice and her spunk and thought she was cute in a hippie-chick sort of way. Plus, I thought the judges were really harsh on her. So far, I don't see any of the girls who I think I will feel strongly enough to vote for. Of course, Haley didn't really grow on me until about mid-season, so I'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know enough about anyone's voices yet to know what songs I think would match up good for them. So far this year they are all kind of still all blending together for me and now one has stood out...other than the guy with the deep voice. (can't keep names straight either)

OK..I lied...I remember Heejun too..but not in a good way, and Deandra due to the hair and bad falsetto.
