There are several different kinds of accents in NY, most owned by certain ethnicities, very few sound the exact same.

I can put mine on when I want to, but many years of speech and theatre has obliterated the rough side of it. I can go from sounding like James Earl Jones and roll down to Tony Soprano when I'm good and mad.

How can you tell a NYer? Ask them to say "daughter" or "dog". You'll hear it right away!

and may i ask why ladies/girls/women like to wear clothing items that smoosh the girls? it is not attractive. it just makes me hurt. i told DH that smooshing the girls is not all that comfortable.

It was 80 degrees when I was coming home tonight at 4:30pm... What happened to March coming in like a lion? This was a sweaty panting dog!!

We never completely turned it off this year. Our cold snaps didn't last long enough to bother turning it off for good. I used to get at least 3 months of a/c free bills.

I missed last nights show because I went to Disney World! We drove up for the night to take part in the One More Disney Day for Leap Day. It was crazy packed, but fun to just be able to do it on a whim.
