Now I have to make sure I'm home from dinner in time tomorrow.

Going out with 2 friends from work. 1 of them just got promoted to supervisor, the other one already is. I'm going to joke with them how they are hanging out with a lowly non supervisor person....they are stooping so low.

Neither of them will be my supervisor, but the one used to be back when I first started there. They are local supervisors. The position I have with the company is a national position so my supervisor isn't even in my city.

Hi.
Can anyone please tell me if it is my tv or AI but it seems when the singers sing, the mics and the voices seem very low. Once everyone starts talking it gets loud again. It has been doing this for each show. Is it just me? Thanks.

So far they've put through people I agree with. I'm bummed they're going to pit the two young guys against each other. ebben and the other young kid.

Hiii yall!!!! I've not watched yet, it's my game plan tomorrow after class and grad exam and maybe a nap. But the two I'm rooting for made it through tonight, so I'm on dang cloud nine right now.

finished watching it...hmmmmm, I am getting the feeling that the judges put several thru to the top 24, hoping the voters will do the dirty work of cutting them instead. I am not sure about the blond country girl, the one who was cut at 16 and now back. Bailey? Something a little too ingenuine about her to me. I know Colton is a fav to many here, but not so sure he is a stand-out to me so far. He seems like he is always irritated or something to me...loved that he dedicated his song to his sister, but I am not a fan of Coldplay so didn't care for his song. Maybe it is that he seems almost generic to me, just don't think if I was hearing him on the radio that he would stand out, KWIM? Heejun, I think they will have to work with him on completing words maybe, just an observation but I wanted him to finish the words, not just blend them together. Other than that, he's adorable.

Reed, the guy is so chill,he's like the cartoon Chester Cheeto I want to keep him around just for that, He needs to be in a 60's Hippie movie but the dude is also elastic, he has some quirky moves, love it!I truly admire a multi-talented individual, so right now, he is one of my favorites~maybe not to win, but to enjoy seeing each week. Top notch/Traditional talent has to go to Jen, Elise and Jessica. All 3 are powerhouse singers, should be good. I saw that they bring Eben and David together, I am hoping they say both make it. I kinda like Skylar too... but with 2 country girls already in, not sure. This is where I think Bailey is obviously there for the image over voice thing.
The cliff-hanger,Adam, I like him, but really am not sure~could go either way. Only thing that makes me lean towards him going thru is that opening tonight's show on a downer of a cut doesn't make for good tv, so I guess I lean toward him making it. He kinda reminds me of the whole Danny Gokey thing(maybe it's the glasses) but Phillip Phillips has the same gravely voice going on, and far more marketable so if push comes to shove...again, I am thinking the judges are going to leave this up to the voters.
I think the cute kid with the long hair, (that he whiplash flips a LOT) is gone not sure about the others yet...

I do not notice it....so far. I remember last season thinking the sound was way off tho.

I need to make two clothing comments , lol..


The bad:
Someone HAS to de-sequin JLo, between the reflection off of the lights and the water- her clothes made her face look like a disco ball esploded all over her..The good:

The mom who had on the white T that said "Todays Outfit"
I'm making one


and the bossy girl, the one who was ALSO cut last year , she had on some sort of lace/body suit thing that was not doing her any favors..If there aren;t any mirrors around they could us JLo to see their reflection, just sayin'

No, it's not just you. I find I have to turn up the volume on my TV when AI is on, but not for any other show.

Thanks. I didn't notice anything last year, this year I can't hear it. Yes, I DO love that shirt.

Thanks. It's more when the contentents just sing that it is very low. When they judges speak, I can hear them fine and have to turn down the volume, but when the singers sing, I have to turn the volume up very high. Do you find this senario happening?

I really wish they had more current songs for the contestants to sing rather than Louie Armstrong, Johnny Cash, and Ray Charles. Those are classics, but they don't show you one bit what type of music this person would put out as a record.
