I'm in again. Though another vote for less Southern twang, more variety over all would be nice.

As much as I like country I do agree that there needs to be more variety.

I'll be watching. I missed Simon so I watched X-Factor and really enjoyed it as well, especially Melanie and Josh. I'm looking forward to this year's Idol. Didn't J Lo say she wasn't coming back? I was thinking I'd heard that...so if it's true I wonder who will replace her. Steven Tyler is coming back, isn't he? I wasn't happy when I first heard he was going to be a judge, but over the course of the season I grew to like him and even like him a lot more since I saw the 2-hour interview that Oprah did with him so I'm looking forward to seeing him again.

And I was very happy with the winner and runner-up last year.

I too am not a country fan but I did like Scotty. However they need to pick up the pace this year. Last year was a snooze fest. James Durban rocked the place out but other than that it was slo-motion.

I am looking forward to AI! Has anyone else heard that Ryan's contract is up soon? Or is that just a ratings ploy?
I did not care for X Factor and that annoying host AND the basketball/boxing ring announcer.
I hope it is a good season for AI! Since country was tops for the show last year, maybe they will try to go a different direction this year.
