American Idol Scotty McCreery’s debut album, Clear As Day, has been certified platinum for sales of more than 1 million in just three months after its release! It's that time! The big two night premiere is coming up in just a shade under two weeks. January 18 and 19! I enjoyed X-Factor but I MISSED Idol 9and all my DIS Idol buddies!). I'm all excited for another season, and hoping the talent is there this year to rival the awesomeness of the David Cook season (still my favorite).

Now Danny Gokey..cool. Nashville is on my list of places I want to visit at least once before I'm older than dirt. Right now I'm old..just not older than dirt.

hope school doesn't stress you out too much, what year is this one for you? My DD is in her last semester, 115 days until she graduates from college and my DS graduates HS 3 weeks after that. Not sure when Idol ends but I'm pretty sure I will be recording the last few weeks of it!
