So the weakest of the night for me were:
Deandre
Hollie
Skyler
Phillip

I am hoping either Deandre or the country bumpkin go home tomorrow!

I think Elise, Deandre and Hollie will be in the bottom three. Bumpkin had the sweet spot, she'll get more votes than usual.

Top were Joshua and Colton for me. Still not sold on Colton but he has presence and confidence, two important qualities of a performer.

Jessica has a big following and I think the PTB are pushing her so I think we're stuck with BB Cheezy (baby Beyonce) for awhile.

Phillip was best during the duet, not a fan of his Phil Collins tonight... 3 philips???

I agree with your bottom 3. I think Colton will win the whole thing. He's not my favorite, but I think he has the teen & female votes.

I thought tonight was one of their better nights, the only who bombed was Hollie.

I voted for Colton and Skylar who I thought had the best performances of the night. I forgot about Skylar on an earlier post but she is my favorite of the girls. I like that she is not trying to be a diva or whatever. She reminds me a little bit of a young Bonnie Raitt and I think she has the potential to do a lot more than country.

I liked Skylar tonight. Loved that everything everything part!

That was my song for my Daddy. I actually had the lyrics printed for his 80th birthday! He was everything everything everything I wished I could be! Luckily my son is JUST like him.

I need a bit more time and prayer...

I got married before that song was released but my sister got married in 1990 and danced with my father to that song. Not a dry eye in the house. It's a beautiful song if you have a Dad like mine (and obviously yours too!) He raised 4 girls and to all of us he's our hero.

It's time for Hollie to go home. If Simon was here, he'd tell her that she sounded like a lounge singer on a cruise ship.

She was truly awful tonight wasn't she? Even the outfit had to go. She seems like a nice person but based on her performances the past couple of weeks, her time is up.

My top three last night were Colton and Skylar.

Joshua and Philip are starting to sound the same week after week to me. It doesn't seem like they do anything different.

While I liked Deandre better this week (not as much falsetto), that's not saying much.

My bottom four are Deandre, Elise, Hollie and Jessica.

I think that either Hollie or Elise will go home.

I loved the Skylar and Colton duet, thought they did really well.

So tired of DeAndre's falsetto. When he sings normally it's fine but he puts that awful falsetto crap in everything.

Loved Elise last week, this week she sounded terrible.

Haven't been a Joshua fan, too over the top with the screeching in every song he sings.

I enjoyed Hollie, I've liked her from the beginning and think she has a great voice.

I'm tired of Philip, he sounds the same every week, never does anything different.

Jessica, eh...wasn't that great.

I liked Colton, he did well with his song.

Loved Skylar, nice to see her do something different, I thought she sounded great.

My top three are Colton, Skylar and Hollie.

JESSICA: "How Will I know"...of COURSE she is singing this. Did she say she has an alter-ego named Bee Bee Chezz? Oooh I hate her so much now. This is not good. It's maybe her weakest performance so far. Yay!

Haha, so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. She makes me want to puke! She's trying too hard to be "fierce" and it's super annoying.

Love me some Phillip Phillips, though. He's actually the first Idol contestant my hubby has ever liked, too. If he doesn't win, I hope it's Colton.

^ this! I am hoping BB Chez is in the BB Bottom 3 tonight....she needs a bit of humbling. I like Elise but she tanked last night. Hollie was not so good. Loved the 2nd half of Skylar! At least they are rotating the pimp spot this season. My favorite duo was Phillip and Elise, then Joshua and Diva-chez. I rewally don;t want Elise to go home tonight, but think it may happen, her or Hollie, yeah.

Totally agree with all the above!
I don't understand the Philip love. His lyrics are always unintelligible, and I am so put off by his hunched over posture while he sings. In our house, he is known as "Quasimoto"!

My Dad raised 3 girls and was the oldest of 14. His sisters and brothers all treated him like he was their father. My Dad was a quiet, humble, Christian man, who did nothing more than love his wife, his kids, his family and all animals. I used to say "Jesus takes notes on my Dad"

I only want to live long enough to have the kindness and patience he had. Not a snowball's chance in heck, though, I'm TOO MUCH like the woman he married!!

Hi guys, I'm still here but things have just been a little crazy but here are my thoughts on last night:

Deandre - Didn't care much for his performance but then I just don't like his style of music. Since they are both falsettos, I would like to hear him sing something from Mayer Hawthorne. I love The Walk and that might change my mind about Deandre. He would have to do it fast since I think he may be gone soon.

Elise - I may be the only person but I kind of liked this. It must be something wrong with my ear because everyone else seems to agree that this was bad.

Joshua - He is probably very good with his style but I just don't like it. I don't know the right terms but he makes too many changes and too many screechy sounds. He does seem like a very nice guy.

Hollie - I thought she was OK. I can't see both Jessica and Hollie staying around much longer and the show is really pimping Jessica. I think Hollie may go tonight.

Phillip - What can I say? I am such a fan. He was my favorite again. He may sound the same but that is who he is and I would not want him to change if he could. I think most stars have a sound that they stick with. There is nothing wrong with that.

Jessica - I would be so over her if I had ever liked her performances. And please, BB Chez. She must be so full of herself. My family and I think she is ridiculous. We are each coming up with our own alter egos that we will adopt while watching her perform. I will let you know what I come up with. She can go home at any time as far as I am concerned.

Colton - I like him but I didn't think this was his best. I did love the face painting connection with the Nashville Predators. I know some young fans that remember him from this.

Skylar - I am in the minority again but I didn't like this. All the praise for this just leaves me scratching my head.

I voted for Phillip. I expect to see Hollie or Deandre go home tonight.

....another person who agrees with you - I think that part of it was because I happen to really like that song too... definitely not as good as last week's Led Zepplin song, but definitely better than Holly or Deandre....
