Absolutely. I think, though, that Scotty is going to quickly run out of running room with his sales pitch. We're not watching Carrie Underwood Part Two here.

DH made the same comment. Scotty has not shown any improvement or growth. He has a faithful following, but won't have a huge career. Lauren would be the best fit for AI. MO

In re "selling a song":

After hearing David Cook, my dh said to me, "So David Cook had a big wrangle with the label over the direction of his album. After watching him perform that song, I take it he lost, since he didn't seem very into it."

Apparently others agreed, because while the song did move onto the Itunes charts, it only got up to 71 before falling again.

Thing is, the song IS better than most of the trash out there. So I do believe the problem was in the selling of it.

This year has been CRAZY with all the tornadoes! We're expected to have bad weather here in NC tomorrow.

If it gets warnings, take cover. My best friend lives in the area that was hit and it skipped her building in the complex but others have damage. This storm is awful.

I know how that goes, Good Friday almost 3 years ago maybe was like that here.

I grew up listening to Carole King-and similar so I like her music. I realized yesterday that I never watched the kick off show from last week and had to ask DD who got the boot--happy about that one.

It's getting old this season--"I like you, it was beautiful man".

Glad you're okay, Mandy, I'm checking on my relatives in Chattanooga, too. We have warnings until tonight here in Georgia, makes me nervous because my elderly uncle is home alone and I need to contact him if anything happens this afternoon.

We were flooded out back in 2009. Before then I had no fear of weather. It takes just one time to change your prospective.

Did anybody see Pia on DWTS last night? She sounded great and looked great - she wasn't even boring since we got to watch her boyfriend dance around while she sang (she never moved...). Perhaps she will do well. She can have a dance crew twirl around her while she belts out those power ballads.


OR - Maybe Mark will teach her to dance!!!

I thought the song was terrible, and don't think it is better than most of the stuff out there.

I was very disappointed in him last week. His Mother showed more personality than he did.
I didn't even like his hair!

Well, he needs to change it up. The Hee Haw routine is stale.IMO
