Here's a quote from idolonline.org
According to message boards and now seems to be confirmed by E! News that tomorrow's theme will not be Diane Warren after all but... Classic Disney songs. They have also said the following songs have been picked:
Josh- Bare Necessites from Jungle Book
Clay- I've Got No Strings From Pinnochio
Trenyce- I Wanna Be Like You from Jungle Book
Carmen- He's A Tramp from Lady And The Tramp
Ruben- ZipADeeDooDah from Song Of The South
Kim- Bibbity Bobbity Boo from Cinderella

Looks fun!!!!!!!!!! Ruben and ZipADee... should be great. Actually it looks like most of the songs are appropriate!

Be still my heart if this turns out to be true!!!!! Disney fix AND AI together!!! Go Clay!! ;)

No way! That would be awesome! (Though Clay singing a song about a puppet... Darling Clay, that might be a bad comparasion!!) I'm glad if Ruben picked something upbeat -- he's slipped in my rankings for being predictable!

Wow, this would be sooooo cool! I can't wait to find out if it's true!! Where did you see this, though? I went and looked at idolonline.com, and got a list of the "Best sites for porn." Yikes. (and on my computer at work, no less!)

Aha! It's ".org"! That explains it! Thanks -- looks like a cool site!

I cant see them changing their song picks 10 hours before the show?!? That would be totally unfair to the idols. Not to mention the fact that Diane Warren would be a little ticked off; being a celebrity judge and them *choosing Disney songs instead*?

..perhaps they will do them for next week...I don't know...it is just me - or does it seem impossible for Fox to change the theme so quickly on them when they can just do the Disney thing next week instead???

Well, they changed the theme pretty quickly a few weeks ago, from disco to country because the celeb judge couldn't show, putting disco off another week. That was about a day in advance. Maybe Diane Warren couldn't show and they got one of the Sherman brothers instead? (Are they even alive?) Ooh, maybe Mickey will be the celeb judge!!

...yeah - THAT would explain why they were so horrible the week that they did "country rock"...

I heard this morning on Entertainment News that Diane Warren was still going to be the celeb?!? If that's true - I just can't see them changing it THAT fast...but I am crossing my fingers that you guys are right...I would LOVE to see a Disney night!

Personally I dont believe things that are confirmed by E! (and is it just me - or would Simon rip Clay apart to no end for singing that song?!?)

LOL! Jokes aside, I just went to the official website and was noticing the concert schedule. Anyone know how much tickets will run?

If they don't do Disney songs this week, I hope they do it soon because that would be great having two of my obsessions combined--Disney and American Idol!

To me, that list sounds like a joke. I can't imagine ANYONE singing Bibbity Bobbity Boo and thinking it was a good idea. Same for the Pinocchio song. Sounds to me like someone was picking songs they thought they "should" sing, for one reason or another. If they're right, I'll be  through most of the show.

I was beginning to think that I was the only one who thought this was a really lame idea! I like Disney songs, for sure, but not for AI. I agree with CookieGVB, but I don't even think I'd watch the show at all!

And, forgive me for not knowing, but who in the world is Diane Warren???

OMG - there could be a ka-zillion better Disney songs then "I got no Strings" or "Bibbity Bobbity Boo"!??!

How about Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Hercules, Mulan, Lilo and Stitch?!?

If you ask me - the story is a joke, just based on the song selection...IMO - could those songs BE any worse???

oh Diane Warren:Diane Warren’s songs have transcended genre. Her number one Adult Contemporary hit "If You Asked Me To" has been recorded not only by Celine Dion, but also by R&B diva Patti LaBelle. Her song "Don’t Turn Around" has been recorded by eight different artists – from Tina Turner to Ace of Base. Her number one pop hit "I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing" performed by Aerosmith for the movie Armageddon not only received an Oscar nomination, but simultaneously hit number one on the country charts with a version sung by Mark Chestnut. Additionally, Diane’s song, "How Do I Live," recorded by both Trisha Yearwood and LeAnne Rimes, was not only a number one hit that won Yearwood the Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance, but also carries the distinction of being the longest running song in the history of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Diane’s songs are featured in more than 60 motion pictures. She had a number one international hit with "Can’t Fight the Moonlight" performed by LeAnne Rimes and featured in the film Coyote Ugly. Diane continues to diversify. She recently joined forces with rock band The Cult, who recorded "Painted On My Heart" for the film Gone In Sixty Seconds. Bounce starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck featured "Need To Be Next To You" performed by Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer. The Family Man showcased "I Don’t Know How I Got By" performed by Edwin McCain. With an uncanny ability to create the perfect song for any scene, whether it calls for a love ballad or rock anthem or up-tempo groove, it’s no wonder that Diane continues to receive accolades. To date, Diane’s songs have been nominated for three Golden Globes, five Academy Awards, and eight Grammys.

This just doesn't sound right, like madonna31 said, there are soooo many more better Disney songs for them to sing! I hope its a joke, because although I love all of those songs, I don't think they serve the purpose on AI.

See...told ya...

Check out the new NEWS on idolonline.org

"The truth is finally revealed. Tonight's theme is in fact Diane Warren night with Diane Warren as guest judge. This has been confirmed by TV Guide and USA Today"

You guys make total sense to me!! When I saw the words, "American Idol" and "Disney" together..........my mind must have gone into a fog!!! While I think the concept could work, the songs that were listed are SILLY! There are gorgeous songs from various Disney movies like madonna31 mentioned but the songs like, "I've Got No Strings" are ridiculous! Shame on me for being so gullible!!
