I don't know much about the audition process. So...Paula, Randy, and Simon weren't at the qwest center in august? They were there in October? I don't get how it works.

When they do the cattle call of thousands, I don't think that Randy, Paula or Simon are there. It is literally a casting call - they are probably looking for a type. I don't know if it's the same for all the venues. Maybe some of the try-outs are completed within a few days. I really don't know more than that. But, because of my DC obsession and the videos I've watched from the KC Fox station, that is how it went down in Omaha.

I know of someone locally that tried out in Atlanta and he said that if you make it through that round then you meet with other producers and then you can show them your "portfolio" so to speak.
