I read/heard that both Davids already signed recording contracts this week. Wouldn't the winner get a slightly better one? That seemed a bit premature.

Most of the winners have gotten their first Post-AI CDs out around Nov/Dec. I don't want DC to rush, but I can't wait to see what he comes up with! And the tour is going to suck up a LOT of time this summer. I hope the man gets some time to RELAX before the tour starts.

They just HAVE to re-release "Analog Heart" in actual CD form. I want a hard copy with liner notes (if there are any!).

I am marveling at just HOW FAST this thread has moved tonight. I wonder if we are anywhere near a new DIS record.

As much as it KILLS me to say this..congratulations to all of you. And David Cook.

I am sorry your guy didn't win. He does have a very nice voice. Plus, he is young maybe this will actually help him along th way. He always looked a bit uncomfortable on the stage to me, and maybe now that the pressure is off he will be able to relax and really show off his talent.

I'm sure we'll be hearing him soon.

Is So You Think You Can Dance good? I have never seen it and I am intrigued. What do the dancers who win go on to do?

Apparently they go on to dance on American Idol...haha. Other than that, I don't know.

I do enjoy the show though. It starts tomorrow. They'll show a bunch of really bad dancers at first, just like Idol. But the good ones are usually really good! I like it better than Dancing with the Stars because there are a lot of different styles of dancing (although I hate the lyrical dancing or whatever it's called.)

I'm sure a bunch of teenage girls are crying their eyes out right now. I cried when they announced it. I'm getting over it though. David A will go very far. This is just the beginning for him.

And he did do wonderful on that song. I'm so proud of him. lol that may sound weird..

I have no idea when it was recorded. He's outside the Qwest center in Omaha. But his hair isn't the same color as it was during auditions. And Fox 4 is NOT the local news in Omaha.
