American Girl?

Question for those of you who know anything about AG. Do they ever have free shipping or sales or coupons? Or anything? My DD wants one so bad. That's all she wants for Xmas for the last 2 years and she never asks for anything. DH is saying get it for her, and I know we will. BUT $95 + $17 shipping is hard to swallow for a DOLL!!!. I HATE paying for shipping on anything I buy online anyway, but $17 is crazy! Does anyone know if they will do anything for BF? Or, should I just go ahead and spend the $112 and get the doll now?
