American Girl Post Holiday Sales?????

Does anyone know if American Girl has sales after the holidays? Do they mark down some of the "holiday" items? My daughters are wanting the pet sled that comes with antlers and I don't want to pay full price. I have been checking their site daily hoping to find it marked down but nothing yet.

The only sale I remember last year after the holidays was when I ordered Chrissa sometime in January and she was $5 off and free ship (or something like that). I can't remember if it was a sitewide sale or just on the GOTY...sorry..this post isn't much help is it.

Theholiday stuff may go on sale but it will prob be next year when the new holiday stuff comes out. At least that is how it has been in the past.

Last year they had a year end sale with several things marked down after Christmas. I sure hope they do it again this year.

Last year they did have great after Christmas sales, but it's speculated alot of that was brought on by the change in lead testing laws. (Sell it out, fewer things they had to test after the deadline.)

(That sale was not linked to items that were just holiday items, in fact, I can't recall any that were holiday items. Might have been, though!)

OMG, I wish I had all the money I spent on AG dolls!!! My daughter is 12 now and does not even look at them anymore! I would sell them but my wife says that we will have a granddaughter one day that will love them.
How does she know that?!?!?

If I could do it all over again, I would try to convince my daughter to take the cash!!!
