American girl-birthday package??

Anyone do the American Girl birthday celebration? It will be me, dd7, my niece 9, and sis in law.

We were wondering if adding the birthday package is worth it?? Anyone know what is in the goodie bags?

This will be in Atlanta.

We enjoyed it. They have a little seat for the dolls and the food was pretty good. We got a little bag, notepad, girl and doll hair ties and that's all that I remember, not much for the price but worth it for the fun factor. Plus if the other girls are getting one yours may feel left out.

would love to know about this too.. can you do the birthday package if it is just me, dhm ds1 and dd it is a 2 hour drive and we will be staying in a hotel so we wont be bringing friends

Yes, you can do the birthday celebration. It's just going to be 4 of us because we are also coming from out of town. I believe it's $28 for each girl and $18 for adult, but that includes your meal, drink, dessert, goodie bag. The regular adult meal is $15 and child is $12. So we were wondering if the extra $19 (child and adult) is worth the cake and goodie bag.

We did the goodie bags, and there was a book, a doll tee shirt and a fake plastic balloon. There was also a teeny tiny AG shopping bag for the doll.
And a cake. I thought it was worth it.

We haven't done one but really I think the little bit extra is worth it for the cute factor. Have fun!
