Are you a member? Have you used any points for rewards, yet. I was saving and saving mine to use towards a Disney vacation, but now they're not affiliated with Disney anymore.

So we used the points to get a Canon Digital Mini Video Camcorder. Gene ordered it online through AX last weekend, using our rewards points. On the site they said that it would take 4 weeks for delivery, but it came today. Now, that's good service! I can't wait to learn how to use it so we can take it on vacation.

I've been a member for a number of years, but now that my work doesn't involve much travelling (thus, little goes on my Corp. AmEx), I'm about to cancel the Rewards Membership, because the $65 membership fee doesn't make any sense right now.

We've used my points for Disney tickets (a 6-day hopper pass back in '98), car rental GC's and a number of other gift cards just recently (so I could clear out my account).

*********** - You should see if you can transfer your points over to a personal AmEx Blue account for yourself. I have a Blue and don't pay an annual fee.

I have over 17,000 points, I've never used any of my points. The camera sounds great!
I don't know what I'll get? One of these days something will pop out at me that I'll just have to have:D

I use my AmEx points to supplement my Southwest Rapid Rewards point program. I transfer the points on line and I've gotten 2 free tickets to MCO.

I want to use AmEx rewards points for flights to England, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

I have a SPG AMEX card, so I build up the SPG points by using it. I so far have enough points for 2 nights at the S/D, but I want to acumulate a few more free nights before redeeming.

I have the AMEX Optima card, no annual fee. But I rarely use it, and use the couple hundred points to subscribe to magazine for free instead.

I'm saving my points for free air fare.

I use mine for airfare on USAir. I charge just about everything to my Amex and can usually get two free domestic tickets a year.

Kath -- assuming you're a member of one of the frequent flier programs that AmEx has a deal with (I know Continental is one), you can arrange with AmEx to transfer the points into miles in that FF account, usually right before you want to book your flight on that airline. Make sure that the FF seat you want is available first, because once you transfer the points for miles, they're permanently in your FF account.

I just moved 39k points to HAWAIIAN AIRLINES woohoo......Hawaii here we come. ;) :)

I just used 30,000 points for $300 certificate at Home Depot. In the past we have had free air tickets to WDW.

From Continental's home page....Now through March 15, 2003, you will receive a 25% mileage bonus every time you transfer a minimum of 10,000 American Express Membership Rewards points to your OnePass account.

You can get a free ticket on Southwest Airlines for 20K points. We have used this for a couple of trips to WDW.

I love my membership rewards...the last time I cashed them in I got 4 character meal breakfast vouchers...

I will tell you 4 adults at a character breakfast was quite an experience...lol I would not have paid the money to do it, but it was well worth using the points, wouldn't have traded some of the smiles.

I m hoping to cash in some points again for my next trip. Maybe a GF or something...

enjoy your camera
