-Is it still there? I can’t find any info posts beyond 2021 and one said it closed.

-If it has reopened, how do you gain entry? I’ve read different answers, but I’m confused. Some say show your Amex card. Others say you have to purchase your tickets with your card.

On my way toUniversal today with one night at Sapphire Falls.
I will check the AX Lounge door but I know it has not & will not re-open.
It was next to the Shrek attraction …currently closed also.
Guests that used their AX Card to purchase their Annual Pass were allowed entry. It had to be shown to concierge attendant inside the doorway and she checked online. This was such a nice perk and very generous from AX , unlike the DVC Lounge at Epcot. (And the Top of the World cruelty. ) …
I will miss this place every trip now and I am guessing those team members that were assigned that desk/ position will also miss the good old days.

The last trip I entered the Coke AP Lounge at Universal Studios
and did receive a free taste test of the new Coke Coffee flavored drink…
really gonna miss the AX lounge ! Haha

The Universal Studios AP Lounge has moved but I think it is Open .
The AX Lounge has Closed permanently .
I plan to arrive in a few days and will report back .
In the mean time, I think the AP lounge has moved to Islands of Adventure and was closed for expansion at the former site in Universal Studios.

I went Tuesday 2/6/2023 with my annual pass. AMEX lounge gone. The DVC lounge does not have a bathroom. They are intent in weeding out those who did not buy into DVC directly from Disney that they act rudely in the process. I went to Epcot to learn how to use the passes see the resort where we recently purchased from DVC because we are taking 5 grandchildren in June. The two DVC greeters looked like they were in cosplay for star wars. Not friendly. Not informative the lounge is an insult.

No more discount with your Amex card now either. I think Universal went to Visa and broke its relationship with Amex. Was good, both lounge and discount while it lasted.
