American Express Lounge

Has anyone been to the American Express Lounge at Universal Studios? One has to purchase your Universal Studios tickets with an American Express card at Universal or through their website to be able to have access.

What was your experience there? Was it worth buying your tickets through Universal to have this amenity?

We bought our tickets with Amex at Guest Services. We were given a receipt to use to be able to use the room. We took advantage of it one afternoon. Cute little room with a few couches, TV, and for snacks they had small bags of plain chips, hard granola bars, and water bottles. They also had a bathroom to use. We hung out for about 45 minutes. It's a nice little perk.

When we were there last week, we were told only one of us needed a ticket purchased with AMEX. We only bought the one ticket and the whole family was allowed in.

I know the link says nothing about a reciept but others have said they have to show a receipt. How else would they know you bought them with your Amex card?
