American Express Card Discounts

This is my 15th trip to DisneyWorld, but my first trip on my own budget without my parents! I do not currently have an AmEx card, but could get one if there are any discounts that make it worth it! Any feedback?

Supposedly, Disney will terminate their agreement with Amex at the end of 2002 and start a new program with Bankone Visa. I don't know about the perks, but it will be a special Disney Visa.

If you are going after 12/31/2002, it would do any good to get an Amex card.

Thanks for the heads up, Minnie's Mate, about Amex may be expiring.

Meegs, our Amex card was very helpful on our trip in June. We got 15% off our purchases at the World of Disney. Also, we got two neck straps and White Glove pins in our White Glove package.

The pin trading CM's are on the lookout for those pins and will trade you something nice for the Glove pin. It got my son into the whole pin craze during the trip.
