The best part of the whole story is the quote by Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt.

"He has spoken to his family. He is now ready to get back to work," Kimmitt said.

Somehow this makes this man seem bigger than life. If he truely does stay in Iraq and go back to work it will blow my mind. Makes him seem to have the same attitude as Crockett, Bowie, or some of our other American heros.

Microcell, part if why he would stay is because he doesn't feel his job is done yet. Also, there are probably other young men there depending on him. If not for their very lives, for support and encouragement and as a leader. They need someone strong to help them through this.
I'm grateful he's one of the good guys.
